Yes TTC #2 but about to take a break. Battling infertility and 2 back to back miscarriages. Very discouraged.

TTC #1 either in a couple weeks, or in Feb (I hope)! Dealt with wonky AMH and a fibroid surgery in the fall. Feeling hopeful so far!

TTC #2, trying actively since September 2014, miscarriage in November 2014. Semi-hopeful that my cycle will correct itself in the next couple months... concerned that there is something larger wrong like PCOS/thyroid issues that might need to be addressed.

TTC #1, month 9ish. Diagnosed with primary amenorrhea and then PCOS about a month into our journey. Feeling hopeful after my first RE appointment.

This is month #1 for TTC our second.
I Oed yesterday. Not feeling too hopeful since we are just starting but I'll see in 2 weeks!

TTC #2 for 7 months with a CP back in November. I'm feeling blah about the whole thing. Not as discouraged as I was when I got a BFN in December, but struggling to be super positive about all the pregnant ladies surrounding me at work and facebook.

Hi there, brand new to the boards and to TTC.
We are on cycle three after stopping bcp, ttc our first. Just learning now about many things and trying to figure out why my body can't figure out what it's doing. Feeling hopeful, but trying to keep expectations low as I am 33, fibroids, bcp for 15 years... I don't even know what a normal month looks like. Happy to be here, though!

Hi! I'm ttc #1. Have tried 3 cycles, all BFN. I'm in a somewhat unique situation as my partner and I are both women, so we are using a donor and doing at home AI. I'm hoping that's the only reason I haven't had any success yet. I'm 33, but don't have any other reasons to believe there will be any issues. I do have a doc appt scheduled for February though, to start looking into reasons why I might have trouble. Right now I'm feeling hopeful because we have a new donor who lives close by and will be happy to donate as many times as we want this coming cycle, so maybe that will up our chances. The last three cycles I've only been able to do 1-2 inseminations and I had to travel to the donor so our timing hasn't been ideal. Fingers crossed for this month!

@VegasBabyVegas: welcome to Hellobee! Good luck TTC. I hope your journey isn't too long.

@VegasBabyVegas: thanks! Nice to see another person my age ttc their first! I don't feel old, but then I realize I'm definitely older than most who haven't started yet. I certainly wasn't ready earlier so I guess it is what it is. Fingers crossed it happens for both of us soon!

@2farmmoms: I know! There was a point where I realized most of my friends with kids were having their 2nd, 3rd, 4th... And I still felt like it wasn't quite time. But now it's time and I'm excited to be able to chat with folks about it!

Hi, we're trying for our first. This is my 4th cycle trying, although the first two were more like NTNP. Currently in the tww, but trying not to get my hopes up

TTC #2 for 18 months. 2 miscarriages before LO and 2 after him, had surgery to remove scar tissue from my uterus caused by the D&Cs I've had for my miscarriages. I'm horribly discouraged.

TTC for #1, in the fifth cycle now. Feeling pretty discouraged, and my mind keeps wandering off and wondering if something is wrong, even though I KNOW it can take awhile, even if a couple is perfectly healthy. The first few months were hopeful and exciting, but that has worn away now.
pomelo / 5678 posts
I am not but I'm thinking about it! We move in May so I kind of want to see how that goes first... LO will turn 2 and then we shall see.

I'm not on birth control and having unprotected sex, so that would mean we are trying.... However, I have not had my period... We will "officially" TTC in March.

@2farmmoms: Good luck to you guys! I am 31, and we also have donor sperm - we are doing IUI at a fertility clinic and hope to start in 2-6 weeks!

TTC #1 and this is our 4th cycle. Had a CP last cycle. I'm feeling pretty blah about the whole situation.

I'm TTC #1 and in my second cycle. I'm cautiously optimistic! Hope it happens soon but also know it might take a while.

Hello everyone! We're not necessary trying, but not preventing it either. We prefer to state it that way. HAHA! I guess we're afraid to jinx the process if we say we're TTC. We stopped preventative measures August of last year.

We've been TTC #2 since November 2013. Have had two miscarriages today off our IVF cycles... and now we are impatiently waiting to try again. I'm exhausted.
blogger / pear / 1509 posts
@zarzar: I totally get that. I am just starting my fourth cycle and am feeling hopeful about our new donor, but generally frustrated with the entire process. Almost everyone I know in real life got pregnant on the first cycle or two so I'm feeling like four is really long even though I know it's not at all! Trying to keep my spirits up and think positive, as I do think that makes a difference.

@wrkbrk: good luck to you too! We are hoping to avoid doing iui, only because of cost and hassle, but will definitely go that direction if needed! I have to admit, I'm a bit jealous of everyone on this board who just gets to BD more often during their fertile week. I wish it were that simple for us!

@2farmmoms: IKR? I think about that sometimes too - a lot of my friends just ... DTD and bam - baby the first month for free, ha. But my plan is to not be TOO discouraged yet. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!
blogger / pear / 1509 posts
@wrkbrk: yeah, I'm working hard to stay positive! It hasn't been too long yet for me, and the first two months I was trying not to get my hopes up and in the process I got a little negative about it. Now I'm letting my hopes get up a bit in an effort to be positive because "energy follows thought" as my mother in law says! Maybe if I believe it can happen, it will!

TTC #1 since June of 2013. One BFP in November of 2013, miscarriage in December 2013. Nothing since. Seeing an RE now, and hoping to start clomid soon.

TTC #2. Just over 6 months trying. I was discouraged a few months ago but starting to feel optimistic again.

My husband and I are trying for baby #1. This will be our 9th cycle, but it has taken just about that long for my cycle to regulate after stopping bc. Although we've been disappointed at how long it is taking, we are feeling really encouraged. We're 33 and we knew that it might take awhile to conceive at our age. I hope you ladies are feeling equally hopeful.

TTC #2. I've had one cycle off BC and this is our first month trying. It happened really quickly with #1, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much this month, because I know it can take a while.

Been TTC #1 for 22 months. I'm feeling encouraged...perhaps the new year brings around a fresh mix of hope and determination? I don't know. I also saw an RE for the first time in December, so I feel like we're working towards a plan and that 2015 will be our year!

TTC#1 3rd cycle. Trying not to get my hopes up and be optismistic, as I know it can take awhile. Currently in the TWW.

DH and I just decided for me to stop birth control. So we have just started trying. I know it may take a couple of months for me to regulate my cycle. No charting or anything yet just gonna see what happens for a month or two. But I'm so excited!

TTC #2. This is our first cycle trying. Feeling hopeful. I think it will take a few more cycles for my body to adjust to coming off BC last fall.

Kind of TTC for #1, first cycle. My friends warned me to not get my hopes up TOO high at the start, but it's really hard not to!

TTC #2. This is our first cycle. Temping and going to use OPKs because I don't know when I'll ovulate now. My cycles are kind of whack PP. Excited though!
