My son obviously has gas issues. He'll wake up from sleep fussing and I'll catch the tummy rumblings or sound of him passing gas while he cries. I also think he has acid reflux, as he makes the gurgling sound. Last night he had a particularly bad night where he didn't fall sound asleep until 3 and 1/2 hours after we laid down (not typical for him at ALL). He kept dozing off and waking up fussy.

I mentioned it to my pediatrician who said I can try eliminating possible trigger foods from my diet one by one, starting with dairy.

If you tried eliminating things from your LO's diet, how long did it take to see a noticeable difference once you found his/her trigger food? Did you have to use a combo of diet elimination and medicine, or was the diet elimination process successful without use of medications?
