This breaks my heart. I'll definitely be praying!

Thank you everyone for praying and hoping and wishing us health. Lucas's liver is not functioning very well. This is all related to an overactive immune system. They are trying to remove the antibodies that are damaging his liver's blood vessels and bile ducts, but we don't know if that can be done or that his liver is too damaged to recover even if it works. He's awake and mostly OK, a little grumpy. Still eating, and smiling, and charming the nurses. We are just waiting, day-to-day.
