Do you use one under your LO's car seat? A car salesman that we talked to says he uses one under his LO's seat so it doesn't damage the leather.
If you do...which one do you use?

We got one at our shower, but the fire dept inspector told us that they can't recommend the use of them with car seats so we haven't yet installed it. It was from BrU (Brica brand or something, I think).

I was told by the fire dept and highway patrol notto use them because even if they are installed properly, it interferes with the carseat. I have also heard if you use one it voids any warranty with the carseat, and makes the car seat company not liable if anything should happen in an accident. I figure better safe than sorry. I would rather have messed up seats then have an injured baby.

Apparently, they are not all bad---a lot of car seat experts just don't recommend them because they are afraid people will mess up the install. http://carseatblog.com/21536/vehicle-seat-protectors-update-what-you-need-to-know/
