@daniellemybelle: I've totally brought back stuff to target that broke in an unreasonable (eg. A few days) timeframe and they've refunded me. Perhaps putting a WTB ad out there might help.

Have you checked out ebay? I buy lots of clothes for LO on there. You can often find people trying to unload large lots of clothes too.

I like Carter's onesies, and old navy has cute stuff and frequent sales too.

they used to make them in solid color sets, which is what we have, but i assume the white are just as great. My cloth diapered 12 month old can still wear the 3-6 month ones on the second set of snaps. They are soft, wash well, and generally awesome. she wears one every day under other clothes, and they have no holes. I can't believe how well they have held up.

My kid is on the small side, so I'd probably get the 6-9 month to be safe.

I get most of her clothes from once upon a child, but it sounds like you've checked consignment.

I like Khols for basics. They always have sales... and their clothes last a long time for us.

@JessKas: seriously. way better than carters, which were the other ones we had. I'm so sad they don't carry bigger sizes on amazon.

Check for garage sales if you are in a warmer climate! You can get really nice things for super cheap if you find the right one. We picked up a ton of brand name (like Calvin Klein, etc) outfits for about $1.00 a piece at one sale.

Honestly consignment stores are the best for us, it is just so much cheaper their, but we have some walmart cloths, and I don't know if you have a kmart, but I actually really like their baby clothes, they have some cute things and they fit my daughter really well!

I agree...you can find good buys at Once Upon A Child. I have also purchased items from the Garanimals table at Wal-Mart, and really don't have any complaints.

Carter's has lots of good sales if you have one nearby. Target clearance racks are great, and I've gotten several things at Walmart and I haven't had any issues. Jumping Beans at Kohl's are cheap & pretty good quality too - plus, they always have coupons!

Also do you have a local MOPS group? If so, they might have a FB page. Ours does and it is super active with sales.

Target sells girls leggings for about $5 each, and I've found them on clearance for about $2 each at times.

Once upon a child has been my best bet for cheap kids clothes, along with local thrift stores.
As for walmart - I got a few things from there- the clearance section will have things for $1 or less often! I once got an outfit of jeans, button up and vest for $3.50. I find the quality is okay for most of the items! It's not as cute as gap, but sometimes price/budget definitely trumps that!

This summer I would totally hit up garage sales to stock up for the coming year! My mom and I go every summer on at least one outting for home decor stuff, and I feel like there are always TONS of baby clothes.

@daniellemybelle: Do you have a Kohl's? If not, you can try ordering online too. They almost always have clearance stuff and their jumping beans brand is super cheap and good quality. I also always sign up for their emails and get 20% off coupons regularly. I can send you one that's valid for right now!
