Does anyone have a recommendation for a very good sports bra for larger chests? I need something that will withstand high intensity workouts, such as running.
I'm a 38-40 F.
I bought a compression sports bra years ago, but the brand details wore off and I desperately need a new one.

I have this one and I love it:
It is very supportive, doesn't give the uni-boob look and keeps everything in place. I was a little shocked at the price, but it is so much better than the $20 bras I kept hating...

I like Linda the Bra Lady online - they're not the prettiest, but all of the ones I've tried are super supportive (and you can sort by bra size.)

Moving Comfort bras are fantastic. I just got the Maia and am happy with it. The Panache is another to look into. And if you don't want ANY movement and don't mind a straight jacket, the Enell

(ETA: I see that the description says it has an underwire, but it does not)

I use the moving comfort Juno bra. Not sure how it would work for an F cup, but during a half marathon, I never even thought about my chest.

I have humongous boobs and I feel like I have tried every sports bra out there. This one is pretty great--it's underwire and a little hard to get on, just because it's supposed to be tight. But once it's on, you are locked and loaded.

@psw27: Even regular bras are so expensive, ugh. I guess a high price is worth it to keep the girls in place!

@Crystal: I tried it on at Dicks a few years ago, and have bought from Amazon. I just checked and amazon doesn't seem to have bigger than DD. Moving comfort makes bras up to DD and E (not sure of the difference). Sorry!

@Crystal: I think so, but honestly--I don't even know my true size any more. I recently bought a 36 DDD (a real bra, not a sports bra) and it still didn't fit quite right. And that was WITH a supposed bra fit expert helping me.
I think I ordered it in a 36DD, which might also explain the super tightness--but I really like it tight because it stops the jiggle.

Yeah, i was measured at a 36F and i have a DD moving comfort bra....it was uncomfortably tight until I lost some weight. I don't recommend it. The velcro straps on one of mine broke and couldn't take the support. So. There's that.

It's always surprising to me what is advertised as being high impact support vs real life recommendations! I've ordered a couple online that offer less support as a "sports bra" than some of my regular underwire bras.

@Crystal: I just bought a real bra by Panache and I highly recommend it! It held everything up and in place. Thanks to your post and ppl's responses, I now want to look into their sports bras.

I agree that the best one is the Enell sports bra. It's like a chastity belt for boobs. Seriously, it makes it feel like you don't have any weight there and can do anything- run, jump, even trampoline- and they won't budge.
Their website also lists local stores you can find them in, which is where I tried on first.
