LO is going to be 4 in about a week and a half and I just can't get over how fast the last 4 years went. For some reason 4 seems so old, like she's no longer a baby or a toddler but a little girl...it makes me sad! I think this will be a tough one.
Was there a birthday you were more emotional about than the others?

LO is only two so I don't have too much experience! The first birthday was much harder for me. For me, I think it helps to have his party the weekend after his birthday. It gives me something to look forward to and stay busy with and avoid getting too sad!

I was really torn up about my oldest's first birthday. And I'm emotional about four..I feel like it's the end of an era. She's already SO independent (does the bathroom fully on her own, from wiping to hand washing), gets dressed fully on her own, even shoes and coat.
It just feels like she's a "kid" now. Sob.

My baby will be 1 in three months and I'm STRUGGLING. He's our last so knowing I'll never have a baby again is really hard. Even though I definitely know I'm done with two.

I think I will be emotionally this year on her 2nd birthday, since it's her last birthday as an only child! I wasn't that bad on her 1st; more excited about the milestone!
