I voted a little but really it was somewhere between that and quite. He patted and touch my belly daily but he didn't really talk to it and felt awkward reading to it.

DH talks to our baby and even sometimes gets out his guitar and plays and sings a few songs for him. Be still my heart!

DH liked to rub my belly for most of the pregnancy as an extension of my body, but since about 7 months or so, he's been really into feeling the belly for kicks and having nightly chats with the baby by resting his head on my stomach before bed and talking to him.

Not that often. He very occasionally pats or rubs it and sometimes leans in close to talk to baby.

i wouldnt say that he didnt become a father until the baby was born... he was very concerned with both of our well beings during the pregnancy esp with the scares i had (kidney stones/hospital stay, car accident) but he was a little weirded out by pregnancy and didnt really want to feel her move, touch my belly etc

It has varied through the different pregnancies, he goes through phases of kind of forgetting there is a baby in there and busting out the guitar and making up songs for them.

I voted a little. Currently 29 weeks. In the beginning he would put his hand on my belly, was excited to feel a first kick, now he is very honest to say he is done with the whole pregnancy and her in my belly. He feels stupid, and just wants her here so he can hold her, see her, love her. I get it. He feels like he can't kd anything, and he has been amazing picking up my slack and now picking things up for me! Literally!

Very very little. Made me sad. DH's friend was constantly rubbing his wife's belly when she was pregnant. DH only ever felt for kicks or gave kisses when I brought it up or mentioned it.

He's gotten a lot more interested in the pregnancy and baby girl now that he can see and feel her move. He talks to her and rubs my belly everyday. I also try to encourage that he touches the belly so he can feel some sort of connection since I do all the "work" for these 9 months.

Not at all. He even got annoyed when I asked him to feel her kick after the first few (novel) times. It really made me sad.

Not really. Sometimes I wish he had a little more interest. A simple rubbing with lotion a few times a week would be super nice.

Yes, I did "Baby Evening News" each night before we went to sleep where I would present a bulletin, for a minute or two, of the day's events to our pre-DS (aka DW's belly), so he would feel involved in our daily lives.
It sometimes felt a little silly explaining to our as-yet-unborn son that there had been delays on the 6 train or that we were going to see a new movie that weekend, but I think it helped him get used to my voice. And it motivated us to do more interesting things so that my newscasts didn't get too boring!

Little to no. Only when I asked, or on his own maybe once every couple of months. Pregnancy freaked him out!

No, I don't think he really felt involved in the pregnancy until she was born..... We always talked about her, and he was very excited to meet her, but he wasn't into feeling kicks, etc.

i said quite because he was in school OOT M-F during my pregnancy, so it wasn't daily! he did love the bump though.

I said other, because he tries and I have a tendency to tell him to cut it out. I'm such a bad wife about this, but I just HATE having my stomach touched and stuff when I'm super pregnant. You know those maternity shirts that say stuff like, "If you didn't put it here, don't touch it"? Yeah, I take it a step further than that....sorry, DH!

Hubs loooved my belly, he would rub it, kiss it, talk to it, and every night he would sleep with his hand on it lol. He tells me that he misses my prego belly

Nope. The belly didn't bother him, but it didn't interest him either. He definitely became a dad though once the baby was here.

He talked to both our girls. It was really cool, toward the end of both pregnancies, when we could realize the kids recognized his voice! They both kicked a lot when he'd talk to them.
