I'm having trouble finding water shoes for a girl in a size 3, possibly size 4, that are not like a neoprene crib shoe (neoprene is fine, but I would like a rubberized sole). Any suggestions?

DS had the boy version when his feet were small and they seemed comfy.

@ValentineMommy: thanks! I'll have to look them up. I was looking on Amazon and was having more trouble. I'm not sure a 4 or 4/5 would work though so I hesitate to order online. Her everyday shoes are a 3.

@anbanan15: The first one I posted comes in a 3! I'd check that out!

We found water shoes at BJs that were like "18-24m" and were basically a size 4. I can look when I get home and see what brand they are - maybe they comes in smaller sizes?! I can't remember, I bought them a while ago.

@yoursilverlining: oh I was thinking about going to Costco. Maybe they will have some! She's 18 mo but rather petite.
@ValentineMommy: I saw that! We have a Nike outlet/store. Maybe they will have them so she can try them on.

@Smurfette: Really? I was just there yesterday and got DS a pair I really liked, but searched all over and couldn't find sizes smaller than a combined 4/5

@anbanan15: I know know I got them there cause I had to look for weeks since we had to size up. She had hand me downs 3s from there too. Thet seem to sell out of the small sizes right away. Did you look online?

@Smurfette: yup they have even less styles online than they did in the store. I'll check the other target that seems to have a bigger stock

@bunnylove08: those iplay ones run big.
C was a size three last summer and I gave up trying to find water shoes that would stay on. The smallest of the iplay ones linked above literally fell off her feet when she moves her foot (she was size three but the smallest they come in is a 4). I gave up searching since it turned it we didn't really need them after all.

Have you tried the stride rite Petra?
They have a good support and it's still a water shoe. They run a bit big though. A3 is more like a 3.5 or even small 4.
My little one just moved from a 3 to a 4 in her every day shoe and the 3.5 works perfect for her. So I think the 3 could work for you. My girl also just turned 18 months.... Finding shoes is not the fun I thought it would be.

@elchalten: Stride rite does not work for her. Yes finding shoes is so hard! She currently wears a Clarks for everyday shoes and we were so limited between it being the only brand to work and them only having a few styles in her size...and she is still in an early walker shoe because hard soles didn't start at a 3.

We own a pair of size 6 tevas. Might be worth checking to see if they make a size 3.

We had some size 2 water shoes (rubber sole, mesh tops) last summer for lo. I wish I knew what brand they were They were perfect for him! I found them at a consignment store for like $3. Maybe check those kind of stores?

We also got size 4 at Target last summer - from the shoe area, closed toed sandals appropriate for getting wet. The ones in the water sports area were all too large.

Look up Genuine Kids sandals on Target's website and there is one style that small.

@anbanan15: if your not picky Walmart has them - rubber sole and mesh top

We got these at Walmart in a 3. It will work for what we need them for. A 4 was huge so I am glad I did not order. The smallest rubber sole/mesh top ones our Walmart had was a 5/6.
