Anyone care to share some success stories? How many days did LO cry before accepting it?
LO is turning 2 in a few days and it's time to wean her..
Currently she still nurses briefly to sleep for naps and bed time. I'm not sure to go completely cold turkey or tackle naps first then bedtime or vice versa.
I'm scared!

I've blogged about it but it was way easier than I expected. It was hard for a couple of days, but she got over it within a week. She still asked for it occasionally over the next 2 weeks, but she didn't throw a fit.
Olive was 26 months. Good luck! Most moms find it easier than expected.

My DS was a little younger - 20 months but it went well - he was upset the 1st day when I told him the milk was all gone but then after that he was fine - he continued to ask here and there but I would tell him "all gone" and give him milk in a cup!

Good luck. DS is 17 months and I am scared too. Which is why I haven't done it 
He currently nurses in the morning, before nap and at bedtime briefly if I am around. If I am not he is fine to not.
