I was a wreck PP with my older DD!
This time I'm on Lexapro for PPA/PPD and much better, but I've been really emotional (randomly) about not knowing my pregnancy would be over so quickly, whether or not this is my last baby (pretty sure), etc. Before I had her I was excited to be "done" and feel complete as a family unit but I'm a little surprised at how sad I am!

Very emotional with LO1.
Absolutely and completely normal after LO2! I thought something was wrong with me for not crying over my new baby!

Definitely more with #1. But with my 2nd I was quicker to request anxiety meds. I had been off of them for years and just muddled through with DS1. With DS2, I could feel the anxiety starting to set in and asked the doctor for a prescription at my 2 week follow up. I took them for a few months and then weaned myself off.

Definitely more emotional with LO2, but probably because they're twins so 2&3. Just so much harder and lower birth weights make everything that went smoothly with LO1 (breastfeeding, naps for me, night sleeping) are such a struggle for now. Hoping it gets easier as they get bigger.

I've been pretty even keeled with both, but probably slightly more emotional with #1. Maybe just with the learning curve that goes along with #1?

I was a complete mess after #1. Feel pretty normal after #2! Amazing how different it has been.

PPD after both, but much worse after the second (also our last) baby. I'm also a bit more emotional about getting rid of all the baby clothes and gear, but that has waned as she's approaching a year old, and now I'm more glad to be done having babies, than emotional that she's my last baby. Her first birthday party next week will probably be more emotional for me than her big sister's party though. There's something special about a first birthday, and it's the last one I'll throw for one of my own babies.

Aw I hope I don't feel the same. I really wish we could have more but I'm afraid my husband is beyond done so I'm sure it will be bittersweet for me too. Lately I feel totally fine about that but who knows how I will feel when time starts passing. I do think its more practical for us financially and not to be outnumbered. I also kind of wonder how many it would take to feel done anyway. Eventually there is always an end point. C is such an angel! Big hugs and enjoy.

I was a wreck with #1, crying on and off for several weeks, the few days in the NICU hit me pretty hard. #2 was smooth sailing though. Easier to get frazzled, but much better all around.

I get weirdly happy postpartum. Like sit around grinning like an idiot. No tears at all after either birth. I think my oxytocin sticks around a lot longer. It's weird.
