I'm glad I didn't go through the dating scene. I was young and naive and didn't know about the three day rule and all that other tomfoolery when we met.

Nope! I was a month shy of 23 and DH was a few months shy of 25! He always jokes that he took the best years of my life though I'm glad we met when we did! We dated for 2.5 years, traveled, experienced life together and started our careers. We were engaged for another year and married for one before we tried to conceive DS and I wouldn't change our timeline for anything! I do sometimes wish that we would've experienced hs/college milestones together instead of some of the douchebag ex's I spent it with

We were both 19 when we met and I don't feel like it was too young. It would've been too young I think to get married then, but not to date and become serious about each other! I ended up getting my job first, so we moved close to my work and he looked for work close to mine. We were definitely committed to each other even at such a "young" age. And I love that we have all the same college friends and have been together for so long. We had a long time together before we had children, which I think is good! We were together for 8 years before I got pregnant with Xander, so we had already done so much and have no regret about missing out on things.

We met at 19 but didn't see each other again until we were seniors in college, started dating at the end of the year. I don't think we were too young but we have talked about how we never really did the dating thing we don't regret it, just something we didn't do. But we were long distance for a few years so we experienced the going out with our friends solo still. Just didn't pick up any suitors.

We met when we were 4, grew up together, and started dating at 16. It was hard, especially in college (we broke up for almost a year at one point), but it all worked out. I have wondered what life would have been like if I were single for all those years, but I'm very happy and don't have any regrets.

I was 24 and he was 30, and at the time I thought I was really really young to have already met the man I was going to marry. Part of me wishes I had a couple more years of fun city singledom, but it all works how it's supposed to and I don't think I was too young by any means. We also waited almost 5 years before we actually got married.

Eh, we went to school together since elementary school. We went on our first date at 15 & 16. We had a few years apart and I don't consider us high school sweethearts, we have been together since 19 & 20 and were married at 22 & 23. Next year we are celebrating our 8 year anniversary. So sure we were young, but we have grown up and and grown together. @mrs. Sketchbook our story sounds really similar. Ultimately I missed out on a few things, but what I gained was far greater. Sigh, love that guy so much.

I don't think we were "too young." I think you can meet the person you'll love forever at anytime. But yes, things were challenging at times but I wouldnt change it

I had literally just turned 19 and now DH was 18. Yes we were young and that doesn't work for most people, but for us it did. He says he's glad he didn't go through the dating scene and I am too, though it would have been interesting! We didn't get married until I was 27 and we are expecting our first a year later almost to the day.

No. We met when I was 29. I wish we had met a few years earlier, but our lives would have been completely different.

Definitely. I was 17, he was....14. Lol. He had a thing for me, and I ignored it (being that I was a senior and he was a freshman). We got together 12 years later.

We met at 22. I am glad we did and have no regrets about getting married youngish at 24. But I do kinda feel like I missed out on my twenties. After college I did two years in a volunteer corps, then for married and went to grad school. I developed a lot of health problems then and things were pretty stressful for the next two years. Then I graduated and was pregnant, and now have two under two.

I get kinda jealous of my friends who are able to travel or have careers and money.

I regret more daring my college boyfriend for four years. I think I missed out on a lot of other experiences and friendships because of that. It wasn't a healthy relationship. I don't regret meeting DH when I did, but I really wish I had pursued more opportunities in college. I've actually really been struggling with that this week. I see friends on Facebook from college all getting together and I wish I had made an effort to be closer to them instead of hanging our with my boyfriend.

I am glad we had our kids when we did but on the other hand I realize I've given up a lot to do so. I know on the whole it's worth it, but that doesn't stop me from missing other things.

I was 22 and he was about to turn 23. We had both just graduated college a few weeks earlier, and we fell in love hard. We've been together every day since we met, literally, and moved from just meeting to being serious pretty fast.

It felt so natural and I wouldn't change a thing, but looking back it seems like we were awfully young to be making such huge decisions.
