I'm stumped as to why to get DD2 for Christmas. She s a very quiet, concentrated player, which is the opposite of DD1 and I just don't know what's out there! What you getting your 18 to 24 month old?

My son is like that. He's really into coloring right now, so we're probably going to get him some more art supplies and Color Wonder markers/paper. He plays a lot with his Magnatiles and blocks, so I will probably get him a small Tegu block set for traveling. Puzzles are another favorite of his and he already has a bunch of the M&D peg puzzles and latch boards, so I got him one of the magnetic fishing puzzle boards from Melissa and Doug. He's learning his shapes right now so he's super into his shape sorter - he has the cheap Playskool one, but it does the trick. I got him the M&D pounding bench with the pegs too. He really likes music, so the VTech storybooks that sing songs and nursery rhymes was a favorite from his birthday in September. We're also getting him a shopping cart filled with play food, but not sure if we're going to spring for a whole kitchen.

I think I'm going to get her one of the 3 in 1 micro scooters and probably some art supplies. Maybe some magnatiles since I see them listed so often on here!! I haven't quite figured out how to corral all of the toys that have pieces yet, they all seem to get jumbled up (blocks, play food, tegu....) need some sort of system before I acquire more toys.

Following; DD will be almost 21 months at Christmas and I'm undecided. I know her grandmas are going to spoil her so not sure we need to do a lot. I got her a fuzzy rocking horse from Buy Nothing last summer that she was overwhelmed by and so I stored it; that would probably make a good Christmas re-gift.
My mom got her a doll stroller a couple months ago and she LOVES it so I'd suggest that. She put everything into it including my parents' landline phone and TV remote and pushed it around and around and around.

not super exciting for her, but I'm planning on getting her a potty for christmas, along with maybe a learning tower (so she can "help" in the kitchen and watch what we're doing), a toy box/toy shelves, a toddler pillow and an aqua doodle for starters.

Great ideas above!
I'm thinking a VTech or Little People garage for his main gift from us. Other ideas (for us and family) Ride-on battery vehicle, wooden sandbox, color wonder markers/posters, Pop-A-Dot books, Leapfrog LeapStart + books, Crayola My First Touch Lights, Vtech touch & teach word book, Mickey mouse tool set and floor mat, magnetic letters for the fridge, and then all the non-fun stuff, clothes, pj's, shoes.

I'm not sure yet, but a learning tower and an easel are on the wishlist. my mom wants to get her a doll. Probably more art supplies because she loves coloring.

DS will be just shy of 19 months and we are building him an activity table. It will function as a coloring, lego, train table. Hoping family pitches in and gets extra stuff for the table.

DD is 22 months now, and I'm working with a local mom to make her a custom busy book.
