We had a packed weekend, so I picked up a take and bake chicken pot pie from Costco and it was pretty much the best thing ever.
What are your favorite Costco finds, food or otherwise?

We tried that chicken pot pie for the first time yesterday and were super impressed!
We also tried their mac & cheese and it was fantastic! Their smoked pulled pork is our go-to when we have visitors and its always a hit.

I've never had their chicken pot pies before, I will have to try that!
I love their bananas. Sounds stupid, but they are the best price I can fine, and they always are perfect once they're ripe!

Rotisserie chicken, choco cake, fruit and veggies!

Oh, I have another! I had to bring a dessert for 20 people to a cookout last week, and Costco's key lime pie was amazing I only had an hour to prepare after DS's nap, so Costco saved the day.

Their tortilla crusted tilapia is so good. They used to have an eggplant lasagna we loved too!
Their almonds are a good deal. We get lots of produce their too. The berries are great!

They have really good (and huge!) pies! They also have a red skin potato salad that I really like, for a quick side.

Pumpkin pies! They're gigantic.
Also they have the best prices on milk in our area.

Love their pies, yum!
I always buy milk, cheese, frozen chicken breast tenders and thighs, and their produce is CHEAP! Oh I also buy the pork loin and cut my own pork chops, that way I can have some thin for the kids and thick for the adults.

I always buy a bag of baby zuchinni there because LO likes them steamed. And we always have the peanut butter filled pretzles on hand too.

@Boheme: Now I really want a chicken pot pie from Costco!! Does it have cheese in it? My DH is a weirdo and doesn't eat cheese.
papaya / 10473 posts
@lawbee11: No cheese! Just chicken, the creamy sauce stuff, carrots, and peas.

@Boheme: Sounds yummy...definitely getting one next time we go to Costco!

The pizza is so yummy. We also like these chicken and waffle sandwiches in the freezer section. And of course I always get a churro in the way out, yummmm.

Am I the only one who doesn't like chicken pot pie? I've never understood its allure, haha.
I am obsessed with the Chicago Mix popcorn and the individual cups of guacamole at Costco. The dark chocolate almond bark is pretty awesome too. And double packs of Nutella...need I say more? We get all our dairy there too because the prices are great, and we stock up on some produce and freezer things. The one bummer about the produce is it always seems to go bad before we can finish it, and I'm not great at doing something with it and freezing it first.

@Boheme: I love the brownie brittle! But ours swapped something else for it recently and I'm bummed.

@ellewoods84: @lauraeabel: I made a trip there yesterday looking for chicken and waffle sandwiches but couldn't find them! Do you know what they're near? I assumed breakfast stuff in the freezer section but I walked everywhere and no luck.

@tororojo: at my costco they are near the frozen waffles...so probably near where you were looking! They are made by a company called Julian's.
grapefruit / 4669 posts
@ellewoods84: thanks! Sad day though, I guess we don't have them here. Or maybe when Eggos are not on super sale they'll make room for them! I'll keep checking.

@Boheme: Just bought the pot pie this week and made it last night. It's so good! Addictingly so! I don't even like carrots but I like it in this. DH loved it too.
