I got this from ON and i really like it!
It's a tankini and there is a lot of structure to the top. I have a really small chest so I like that the formed cups stay put so I don't flash anyone.

That's cute! I'm on the hunt for something similar since I'm not ready to rock my postpartum belly yet!

@Alivoo01: it's like $15 right now at ON! I didn't buy the bottom and just reused others I had. Bikinis just don't work for me because of my small chest.
And DD2 likes to pull at my tops....so....yeah.

I think it will be mostly rash guard and bottoms. I got this one from Lands End and some navy stripes bottoms, but I need a supportive bikini top to wear underneath. 6 months postpartum and my belly is not really ready for a bikini. I also have a tankini suit from athleta that fits.

@regberadaisy: cute! I have a small chest as well - may need to try this one!

I'm wearing just a plain black bathing suit but just bought this to wear over as a cover up and to protect my skin.

This combo from Athleta. I really like the bottoms because they cover all my stretch marks. I'll probably get a second pair in a different color before the summer is over.

Sadly, this is probably the last year of wear in my absoulte most favorite suit ever, the J Crew one shoulder ruched tank. The colors are stil vibrant, but the fabric isn't as elastic as it used to be. So sad, but I got 5 years out of them!

@Mrs. Pickle: what's the verdict? Worth the money?
wonderful pear / 26210 posts
@regberadaisy: not Mrs Pickle, but Athleta is absolutely worth the money. I have several suits from there and they're holding up nicely. I usually buy my stuff at the end of year clearance, but I have in the past also paid full price for a particular print.

This one from Boden:

My first one piece in like 15 years, but it doesn't feel dowdy and is super comfortable!
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21628 posts
@regberadaisy: I think so! It fits well and is a thick, nice material. It's really good quality. I love that they have a wide range of styles to choose from too.

hot pink long sleeve rashguard from athleta over an old black bikini. athleta is pricey, but i do love the rashguard! it's got some ruching so it's a little more flattering and a zip neck so easier on and off.

Was gonna wear my Walmart Suddenly Slim suits from last summer, but now that I have a bump I can go back to wearing 2 pieces without feeling self conscious!
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
@hilsy85: that's cute. Is the bottom high cut? Are the cups soft or formed?
squash / 13764 posts
@regberadaisy: The cups are soft, and there's no cup liner, so I think a patterned one is defiintely better as it provides a bit more coverage in the nipple area. But there is plenty of support under the boob, which I need. The bottoms are normal cut I think? Not so high cut that I was uncomfortable but not brief cut or anything.

My favorite is a Tommy Bahama strapless (This is me wearing it with my bump last summer) and I got a new one piece from ON.

@LBee: Love that one!
This is the my new one for the summer, from J Crew:

@hilsy85: Love this. I am going to order! How is the coverage in the bum?
ETA - Never mind - saw your response up above

@LBee: I have this but in a different pattern. I LOVE it. Its so flattering and comfortable. I bought a size (ahem, or two) up last summer after having LO, and even after I've lost some (not enough) weight it is just as flattering. The fabric is superb. I found it on amazon on sale.
pomegranate / 3895 posts
@Littlebit7: I did the same thing! I bought a size up last summer and I think as I've lost weight the size up still looks great (talk about tooting my own horn). I love that it's stylish, but still conducive to chasing after my toddler.
This is super embarrassing, but my husband actually saw it on some lady when we were at the beach and thought "my wife would look great in that" and asked her where she got it. I ordered it off Amazon when it was on sale too! It was a great deal.

I bought a new two piece for this summer. Not sold on one pieces and tankini's just looked/felt weird on me. The bottom has a crossed front design and full coverage butt which I liked. Regular, halter-kinda style top that ties in the back and around the neck. The boob cups don't move either. I tried to find a picture but no luck. Stomach isn't 100% the same at all but whatever...

I'm on the hunt for a few new ones but this is probably the one I'll be wearing most (but in pink).

I have a top similar to yours from Target and wear it with a swim skort.

@looch: I had that same suit that got ruined over the winter. I was so upset because it fit so well! I haven't found anything similar that is as flattering.

Same old swimsuit from last year: Albion Fit tankini top, low rise bikini bottoms from Nordstrom.

Any ideas for swimsuits that have decent coverage/support for big (still EPing at 10 months) boobs? I've lost the weight everywhere else but I feel like everything makes me look saggy or porn star- neither of which is what I'm going for! I've been looking at Athleta which I see mentioned here. Sorry to thread jack!

@abmamma: are you thinking 1 or 2 piece? If 2 piece, I highly recommend a top by Panache or Freya in your bra size. So supportive. ASOS often has them on sale.
wonderful cherry / 21504 posts
@abmamma: @MrsKoala: I haven't worn them yet but Fig Leaves also has a bunch of styles from those brands on sale. Worth checking for your size.
But I have had good luck with Athleta bra size tops. I'm a D while nursing, so not huge but I do need the support. (35 year old boobs that have spent of two years nursing are not the same at 31 year old boobs that have never experienced pregnancy!!)

@LBee: Oh my lanta! That is so cute!
I have a couple that I wear. I'm usually in this Seafolly one or this striped H&M one.
