Simone perele. I think they're great for bigger bust but no idea about their strapless options.
Theyre more than I'd like to pay but hold up really well. I usually try for sales or online coupons.

Just to follow up on @bhbee: I'm not bigger busted but Simone Perele's strapless bras are really nicely shaped and stay up well.

Gap T-Shirt bras work well for a small band size/large cup size combo. (32C/32D while pregnant)

I like Soma because they make structured, padded but wireless bras. I hate that other wireless bras have zero support. My Soma bras can basically stand up on their own, haha. I can't wear wired bras since being pregnant/nursing. Any time I try they are sooo uncomfortable. I don't know if I'll ever go back to wire bras.
nectarine / 2018 posts
I have a large chest and have the best luck with Wacoal bras. Soma has been hit or miss but I have found a couple. No advice on strapless because I long ago gave up on them.
persimmon / 1345 posts
I second wacoal. Got fitted at Nordstrom for one and they were awesome. Soma is also great too.

Freya! They start at an E cup and go up from there. And they have small band sizes which is great if that's what you're looking for. I reallly like their moulded strapless. It gives good shape and is decently comfortable for a strapless. Nordstrom carries them.

Chantelle- love them!
I was professionally fitted at a local bra boutique and loved the experience.

@SweetiePie: Wacoal for strapless, hands down. The no padding one for me, because my boobs are full Ds and I don't need any additional padding.
In general, my favorite bras are Wacoal and the B. Temptd line by Wacoal--pretty bras that are still supportive and make a good boob shape. I also have a good workout bra recommendation (spoiler alert: it's also Wacoal). I'm particular about bras and how they make my boobs look and these bras are the most consistent winner.

I don't know if there is a Nordstrom near you but I've had the best experiences there getting fitted. I have a larger chest and they usually put me in Natori or Freya. I think my strapless is Wacoal.
honeydew / 7463 posts
@Anagram: Is this the wacoal strapless? Agree that strapless in general make me look even bigger and I don't want that. I'm always between a D and DD and I don't like the way I look in a strapless (at least not the VS ones).
honeydew / 7463 posts
@lamariniere: can you link to it? I searched cosabella stretch lace and didn't find anything obvious.

I also recommend a fitting at Nordstrom. Well worth the time and money! My favorite brand is Natori. Their stuff feels so comfy and delicate while giving good support.

@SweetiePie: sorry, it's the Never Say Never bra. They also sell a 3 pack which is a bit cheaper than buying them individually. (Hopefully the link will open on their US site for you).

@SweetiePie: I would also suggest getting fitted at Nordstrom or another specialty store. I've heard that VS will try to "make" you fit in one of their sizes even if it's not really your best size.
I was wearing a 36D at VS. The fitter at Nordstrom was horrified. Turns out I fit *much* better in a 34FF.
pear / 1788 posts
Honestly, I like maidenform. The cups lay flat, and don't curl out and look ugly under shirts like vs do on me.
kiwi / 556 posts
@Calibee: definitely true about VS. I was wearing a 36DD for years and hated bras. Then I went to Nordstroms and discovered I was actually more like a 32 band size!
My favorites are Freya and Cake (for nursing). I've had moderate success with Wacoal but sometimes the gore digs into me.
The best resource I've ever found is https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits
It has tons of resources to help you understand your shape and brands that may work with your specific shape. Plus there's tons of recommendations and you can even post a photo to get input about fit.
Finding a correctly fitting bra has made me a total "bravangelist"!

Maidenform for me. The price pint allows me to buy a lot and they stay perfectly shaped.
cantaloupe / 6131 posts
For el cheapo everyday, the Maidenform tshirt bras they sell in the 2 packs have consistently worked best for me.
Vanity Fair has also been a good fit for me at a slightly higher point.
I am a 36D with a fatty ribcage, armpit fat, and boobs that are oddly spaced kinda far apart so these bras I can tuck the girls in to minimize the pit fat and the underwire sits on top of my fat ribs without bulging badly.

@SweetiePie: I searched and I can't find the Wacoal strapless I have. I've had it for years...they must have stopped making it, which is crazy because I literally tried on probably 50 strapless bras to find one that was perfect for my wedding.
My second favorite strapless bra is this Lilyette minimizing strapless bra. I have 2 of these, 1 in nude and 1 in black. It also stays up really well for girls with big boobs. I have tried on so many strapless bras and only the Wacoal and Lillyette have ever worked on me without slipping down and creating "quad boob" effect.

@Anagram: awesome, and the one you linked to is on sale $2 off on Amazon. I got one of each color.
I ordered the Wacoal one I linked to here, just to see. It has great reviews.
I've been fitted at a boutique here but that was a few years ago. I actually didn't like the Bras they ended up selling me, but I was actually a lot bigger then (32F is what they measured me at). I am pretty confident now that I'm a 34D since having my son, it's consistently been the best fit. But maybe I'll check.
No Nordstrom here...yet! But we're supposed to get one very soon and it'll be the biggest in the country/world. I cannot wait because I shop online at Nordstrom all the time.

My favorite are Chantelle and Wacoal. Some of the Calvin Klein ones have worked well too but they're a bit hit or miss.
apricot / 360 posts
I like maidenform the best. I wear a 34D in maidenform bras and they fit really well. They are much more comfortable than my VS bras.
I have yet to find a good strapless bra that works for me...

@PeaceLily: boob twins
I ordered the ones that @anagram recommended so I'll let you know how they work!
apricot / 360 posts
@SweetiePie: Yes, let me know! I've tried so many strapless bras over the years and they all just fall off me for some reason. The ones that stay up have no support so I might as well not even be wearing a bra.
apricot / 374 posts
My favorite bra is Panache Envy. I haven't found a good strapless yet I have one breast that's 30G, the other is probably 30F, bottom and center full, lots of soft tissue since BFing. 30FF in the stretch lace works well enough for my asymmetry, and the projection is the best I've found for my size.
Other brands to look into: Fantasie, Freya, Cleo, Curvy Kate, Tutti Rouge. I usually have to order online and hope for a good return policy, unfortunately. Sometimes Amazon Prime has a reasonable selection with free returns.
A professional fitting can do wonders, but I've had some bad ones even at Nordstrom. It's SO important to know how your bra is supposed to fit just in case you get someone who sizes you incorrectly.
Some helpful links:
+https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/wiki/beginners_guide -- I've found the bra size calculator linked here to be very accurate.

+I also find the measurement details for each bra listed on herroom.com to be helpful, even if I ultimately order from somewhere else.
@newlypregnantlady: +1!! I love ABTF! And I've also become a closet bravangelist since I stopped BFing earlier this year and did my research before buying a bunch of new bras.
And finally, I remember when a D-cup sounded huge -- miss those days!
honeydew / 7622 posts
Natori I get them at the rack or during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale.
For all the time I just wear Gap pullover bras but I mostly SAH so I don't need to look nice. If we are going to dinner or I am dressing up I wear a real bra.
honeydew / 7463 posts
@PeaceLily: @Anagram: Just got the Lilyettes...L.O.V.E.
I haven't worn for a long period of time yet since I just got it. But I love love love how it feels already and I can just tell it will be so much better than my current VS strapless.
Throwing out my old VS ones now.
Still waiting for the wacoal ones I ordered.
honeydew / 7463 posts
@youboots: I'm loving the Natori options I see on Rack right now. I think I'll get a wireless one that looks good!

@SweetiePie: Nice! I may need to order one for myself. It would be great to find a strapless bra that worked for me.

Freya, Chantelle, and panache are my go to brands to have my actual size (32G)
pear / 1737 posts
My small rib cage and quite large chested (F) sister likes panache. Pretty much all her bras were ordered online from them.
eggplant / 11716 posts
@SweetiePie: Yay!!! And it's so cheap on Amazon right now with that coupon! I've never seen it in stores that cheap. Then if you change sizes (having kids, bfing, gaining/losing weight), it won't suck to buy another one.

I need new bras so badly and I HATE my VS ones. I've also never been professionally fitted, can anyone explain what the process is like? The chicken in me has wondered if you have to be topless for it?
nectarine / 2461 posts
@SweetiePie: late to the party here but Natori Feathers are my all-time favorite favorite bra on earth. They are really forgiving if your boobs shrink or grow a little and super supportive and flattering. They're good for a full cup/small band size combo, too.
