Also, what color do you and your SO have?
I've heard from my sister and SIL that their LOs were born with blue grey eyes. My sister said they started to change around 2.5 months to a hazel. My sister's eyes are brown and her DH has blue eyes.

Both were born with dark navy blue eyes. DS's lightened to a greyish blue and they change colors depending on the light and what he is wearing. DD's are baby blue. Both had their permanent color by about 3 months. I have brown eyes (I'm Caucasian/Asian) and DH has baby blue eyes.

DS pretty much had black eyes when he was born, by about 2 months they were clearly brown and the colour has got richer and less black over time! I have brown eyes and DH has bright blue eyes.

Both had dark gray/ blue when they were born. By 6 months they had changed enough to see a difference, by a year it seems they had settled. Both girls retained the dark blue just on the outer rim of their irises, and then DD1 has green eyes inside the blue, and DD2 has an olive green and light brown hazel mix inside the blue.

DS: blue and at 4 they are a grayish blue
DD: born with brown eyes.
DH and I both have brown eyes, but our dads are both blonde haired blue eyed. When I had DS pedi said all Caucasian babies are born with blue eyes, but that wasn't the case with DD. everyone commented how it was odd her eyes were brown at birth. My DH is half Japanese though so I am wondering if she has a stronger Asian side than DS. I am better your LO's will have darker eyes!

DS was born with dark blue eyes that have lightened and brightened gradually, but still blue. I'm still not sure they're done changing at 19 months but they'll definitely stay blue.

Both were born with very dark grey/blue eyes, DS gradually lightened to a nice grey/blue by about 6 months. DD is 7 months old and are a neat grey colour with brown centres right now.

They were dark blue at birth and lightened up quickly to a light blue. Neither my husband or I have blue eyes. I have green, he has hazel. But grandmas on both sides have blue so I'm guessing that's where they came from.

DD was born with dark blue eyes. Now they are a very bright, saturated blue. The change seemed gradual.
I have green eyes and DH has blue eyes. Many people on my side of the family also have blue eyes.

He was born with steely blue/grey eyes, and I started noticing gold brown flecks at around two months. He's almost three months now, and I'm convinced he will have DH's brown eyes. I have blue eyes with some green in one.

She was born with grey eyes and at 7 months they're pretty blue. Although neither one of us have blue eyes so I wouldn't expect them to stay that way.

@gracecat: I'm Vietnamese but all of my nieces and nephews are half and half. I was surprised to hear some of them were born with blue grey eyes. My husband is Caucasian, too, so I'm happy to hear that my babies might be born with eyes other than just brown.

So I have dark brown eyes (with many many blue eyed cousins and hazel, green, blue, brown, etc in my aunts--all uncles are by marriage), DH has light/bright blue eyes.

My daughter's eyes were dark blue, almost navy, at birth. They slowly lightened up a bit in the first 3 months. Now they are a medium blue that varies in different light and depends on what she's wearing. Sometimes they're brighter, or darker, or more gray.

DS1 was born with super dark blue, and they've lightened to my exact blue.
DS2 was born with dark dark brown, and they've lightened to a weird blue/green hazel different than DH's.
Both had their permanent eye color by a few months old.

D had really dark blue eyes at birth. They're brown now and I honestly don't remember when they changed. A had blue eyes at birth and so far (4m) they're still blue. I'm hoping they stay blue. Hubs and his whole family have brown eyes. My whole family has green/hazel eyes.
