Navy and White, with pops of hot pink.

Before this she had 3 dark brown walls, so our options for easy covering were limited.

Wow love seeing everyone's pictures! We have -

    Dark wood floors
    Light gray walls
    White trims
    White furniture
    Gray rug/rocker
    Yellow accents

Currently C's room is yellow with gray and white decor, but we are about to paint it pale lavender, keeping the gray and white curtains and decor. I've always wanted a purple room so I'm finally doing one for my daughter... Before she is old enough to have an opinion.

Oh, but I do sort of wish we had a chair rail- I love the look of the lighter and darker paints. But her room is so small and crowded it would not be worth doing.

Grey- we didn't know what we were having and wouldn't have wanted pink/blue anyways.

@loveisstrange: love that bed, where is it from??

Loving this post! We have just bought a house and I have been on the hunt for ideas for the girls' room(s) (they may share, not sure yet). Currently, I am obsessing over the colour Duck Egg and Pale Duck Egg, with white trim and another accent colour or two. Here's a pic I'm currently using for inspiration.

@My Only Sunshine: @LulaBee: Its old! It was mine when I was little. It used to be white and we painted it that watermelon pink color and sealed it with high gloss sealer.

I can't remember the name, but I have it on file. It's Benjamin Moore... I think lilac or something.

DD 1's room has lavender vertical stripes on white walls, DD2's has turquoise on the top half of the walls, a white chair rail, and then white on the bottom.

I'm huge into subverting gender norms when it comes to this kind of stuff, but honestly if I were moving into a house that already had a nice pink room and I were about to give birth to a girl, I'd probably go the lazy route and just keep it. Unless you really hate it! Alternatively, you could go halfway and just repaint either the dark or the light pink with a different color, like gray or cream or yellow.

    Love everyone's photos!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I love those flowers on the wall in the blue room! Are those just from a craft store and glued on?

Wow, what a great response! I'm loving the aqua/blue and grey walls. Can't wait to look at the pics on my computer, not my phone!

i'm not a huge fan of pink either, so i painted my daughter's room with a rolling green hills/light blue sky landscape. other daughter has a light blue waters/tan sand landscape. if my husband didn't like the landscape, I was going to go with light light blue and light gray.

@catomd00: I looove the room! So girly and pretty! Is that wall paper or a stencil?

@HLK208: thanks! It's a stencil - "simple rhyme" from cutting edge stencils.

It's coral. It was lavender when she was first born but I wanted something more vibrant for her so I repainted.

Reviving an old thread because I'm looking for inspiration for my girls' new rooms!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: What color was DD2's room painted? I'm debating grey or lavender for my DD2's room.

I'd love it if more people shared pics of their DD's room!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Thanks Are you keeping their rooms the same colors in the new house?

Nursery is light minty green (dd1 had pink accents, now for DD2 it has gold accents).

Dd1 toddler room is really soft purple with a 5' wide soft pink verticle stripe on the accent wall!
