What color would you paint a big, bright bonus room in a 1940s house?

    White! Maybe white dove (or dove white) I can't remember what it is called from BM. It has some color to it, reaaaaaaly light creamy hint of grey. Or linen white

    @Mrs. Sketchbook: I really don't think that photo looks bad at all. But I also know how things can look muddy/dingy in a dark room.

    @Mrs. Sketchbook: also in researching colors ive learned that contrasting colors (opposite on the color wheel) can go together. But if you pair green with wood it will pull out the opposite color red and make it look more redder.

    @Mrs. Pickle: Ok, you won! We went with a silvery teal. I actually have a love/hate relationship with the navy in my hallway so I'm going to repaint that. I'm nearly finished with the teal...
