Now that the holidays are over, I am trying to think of what kind of everyday centerpiece to put on our dining table. Our house only has the one dining area (open concept) so nothing too formal but still nice for entertaining. I'd love to see some ideas!

I like a big bowl or wooden dough bowl filled with same kind of fruit. Like all green apples or all lemons.

We buy flowers at Trader Joe’s 1x/week and put them on the table.

We alternate between flowers and this candleholder with six tea lights. We have a patterned runner on the table and a large painting on the wall behind it to define the space (also open concept).

I have a cream and black striped runner on the table and then on top of that, a wooden wine box filled with faux pumpkins and greenery in shades of cream, green and plum.

I have a big glass bowl with fake (tho very pretty looking) pears in them, and I also switch them out for these neutral/wooden ball things.

@crazydoglady: Hahaha. They supposedly smell like pears too (prob not now anymore). DD1 def picked them up a few times haha!

@crazydoglady: ehh I do real ones a lot so they need to be eaten. I do have some pretty realistic green apples I use sometimes but I like to do oranges or lemons also.

I have a candle and two tea lights. It sits on top of a glittery placemat.

I have a funky zebra striped style vase. We only have one table (no formal dining room) that is used daily so no table runner to get messed up!

I love flowers but I recently became so sensitive to pollen and get a massive migraine so no fresh flowers ever in my house
