It's been a nerve wracking pregnancy and now at 28 weeks I still haven't bought anything for baby. All I have saved from DD is the bugaboo and the ergo. I can't recall all the things we used in first month, I need a refresher of what I'll need!
So far I have:

Don't forget things for you! I wish I had thought to make things for breakfast in the morning b/c I would be so tired and wanted something easy, like a muffin. Breastfeeding made me so thirsty and hungry. I needed to change my clothes a lot, too b/c of all the things I had going on.

@mediagirl: Yes for the pacifier, thank you! I'm on the fence about a pump. I was able to EBF last time but I know that may not always be the case... Maybe I should just get one and then return it if I don't need it?

Are you in the U.S.? You can probably get a pump at no extra cost through your insurance. I stay home and EBF but it's still nice to be able to go out for a few hours and let Dh give her a bottle. And from what I'm told if you don't introduce the bottle before 6 weeks or so it can be a lot harder. But if you don't mind baby not taking a bottle that might not be a concern for you.

@Foodnerd81: I'm in Canada so right now its super expensive to have things shipped (most major retailers are in the US). But you're right, we could always run out and get something if it was needed. Phew!
A pump seems to be the one thing our healthcare or extended health plans doesn't cover! Sheesh, and they are expensive! DD never took a bottle so I wonder what this monkey will do...
Yes to the pads, good to have before hand as thats the last thing I want to be worrying about. I've heard 'padcicles' mentioned on here a few times too, do you recommend?

Padcicles saved my life! Kotex pads plus water and witch hazel. Folded back up and wrapped in Saran Wrap.

@Autumnmama79: I used the coconut oil as nipple cream the first few weeks. A nurse recommended that to me. Oh and the saline drops because DD got a bit of a stuffy nose.

@Mrs. Pickle: @Autumnmama79: oh yes saline drops! That's the one thing I sent someone out to buy the first week! I spray it up her nose when she is stuffy. I only use the nose Frida snot suck if she seems really stuffed up but the spray is really helpful. Usually she sneezes some snot out right after and I can wipe it away.
