Hellobee Boards

I haven't done anything this year other than a card - and we're not even seeing her on Mother's Day. I talked to my Dad last night and asked him to go out and get her some flowers, so he is going to do that on Friday. We will probably Facetime at some point so we can all see one another. Is that gift enough?

We always take our mothers out to a really nice/upscale brunch (I know, so basic lol) and then I get them something from LO which is usually something LO made.

Last weekend LO and I went to a crafting class at Michael's and she made felted coasters and a handpainted mug for each grandmother.

I was inspired by the flower-ordering post over on the blog and ordered her a bouquet! Usually I just send a card and give her a call.

My brother and I get our parents Netflix for a year for both Mother's Day and Father's Day. And we either take them out to lunch or just get-together with them.

I had this plan that I was going to register my mom and DD for a family camp session at the Girl Scout camp my mom went to as a girl. But this year that camp isn't having a family session. So I got her flowers.

I got her a nice bottle of champagne and ds made a flower pot and we put a succulent in it. She loves champagne

I'm getting them both a plant from the farmer's market on Saturday -- it's this gorgeous purple/green plant called a Wandering Jew. (no idea how it got it's name, but it's a favorite of mine)

Just cards. My mom insists that we don't do more than that I am happy to oblige.
