I like Aurora but Emberlynn is too out there for me.

I like both separate but it's a mouthful together (in my opinion of course.)

I like Ember Aurora. Emberlynn sounds a little bit made up:) But if you went with it, I'd do a simple middle name...

I like Aurora Ember a lot. Not a fan with names with lyn(n) tacked on the end...and I have one!

What about Amberly? Emberlynn sounds like words squished together.
eta: what about Everly Aurora?

I agree with pp. Sounds a little made up for me. I'm just not a fan of those names.
I do like Ember a LOT!

I like it!
I do like Ember as-is a bit more though...
I don't get why people don't like names that sound "made up" or why it's such a big deal. Shrugs.

It's a lot of name. I like them individually. Ember, Lynn, aurora

Our neighbors have a grown child named Aurora and they call her Rory. I think it's really pretty. Just throwing that out there:)

I loathe names with Ys in the middle, so this is a definite no go for me.

Love Aurora.
Ember isn't bad alone.
EmberLyn is way too out there made up for me.

To me, Ember sounds like you wanted to get creative with the name Amber. I don't like it with or without the Lynn. Do absolutely love Aurora though.

I voted against because I do think it's a little too out there to actually saddle a kid with. But I actually really like it. So I'm kind of torn, since I like "out there" names, but worry too. It sounds like something from a fantasy video game.

I love the name Aurora (it is on my short list of names but DH hates it).

I like Aurora but Emberlynn sounds too "Utah names" for me.

@Mrs. Pen: I wholeheartedly agree with this. Every name is made-up - some just have more history.
The name sounds a little too princess for me, but it's not my (future) baby. If you love it, go for it!

One unique name can be done tastefully and sound beautiful. Too much "uniqueness" and it gives off an air of "trying too hard" or sounding like a garbled mess.
Emberlynn is fine on its own, as is Aurora. Together, not so much.

I don't know if this is helpful, but what about two middle names? Ember Lynn Aurora? Then you could call her Emberlynn, but her name would just be Ember?
K has 2 middle names, the first one is Lynn, and I call her K-Lynn a lot, some people even think that's her name, haha
