LO is 9 weeks and lives exclusively in 1-piece sleepers (and I think they're all Carters brand!) We were gifted a ton of onesies, both long and short sleeves, but we NEVER use any of them! Before, I always assumed that every baby wears onesies, but it's cold in Chicago and I don't want to bother with pants! Plus, getting them over his big head is not easy, haha. And sleepers are cute, cozy, and easy to wear! It's just too bad about all the wasted onesies though...

Onesies and pants or sleepers. My favorite were pants with feet! No need for socks!

I had a may baby so she mostly just wore onesies all summer. At this point she wears sleepers overnight and usually until after her 1st or 2nd nap and then I change her into onesies and pants.

One piece sleepers with a onesie underneath. I keep the house on the colder side, and we dress in layers.

When LO was that age, it was summer and hot so she was mostly in onesies, sometimes rompers. Now she sleeps in sleepers and a sleepsack and during the day wears log sleeve onesies or shirts and leggings, dresses with leggings, sweaters and leggings, or onesies with leggings and a sweater over it if it's really cold.

I had a spring/summer baby so we just used short sleeved onesies and adied pants when it was necessary. No sleepers at all until about 6 months

Love one piece footed sleepers! We wasted a lot of onsies too.

I always dressed her during the day. Onesies and pants. Sleepers are for sleeping.

3 months and we are in sleepers most days. Ocassionally I'll put on a onesie and pants, but it's such a pain to have a whole outfit!

Sleepers as well! We did do onesies before it got too cold. I had been dressing her in an outfit each day but then I realized I had no real reason for it! So now she gets an outfit if we're doing something in particular (visiting DH at work, seeing friends) otherwise she's in the same sleeper she slept that night! And I have accidentally kept her in the same one for 48 hrs before which is either mommy neglect or mommy points for keeping one clean that long!!
She spends most of her time sleeping or me trying to get her to sleep anyhow, and it's so much easier for diaper changes, etc.

I use the onesies UNDER outfits (and under sleepers at night) for extra warmth.

I used onesies as an undershirt. We dressed LO in onesie + sleeper until she was around 3 months. After that, it was onesie + shirt/pants.

The first couple weeks, just sleepers. Then I started doing onesie/pants combos for daytime. I felt better if both of us had 'day' outfits instead of wearing PJ's all day!

Eh, I'm crazy and had a summer baby, so I really dressed her every day in cute outfits, dresses, everything. She wore every single outfit I'd bought or was gifted, several times.
But if it were up to my husband, she would have been in a sleeper every day.

10 weeks in with DD and we've dressed her in an outfit with a onesie everyday since she's been home from the hospital. We did the same with DS and he was an August baby. They both wore footed pjs for bedtime only.

Im another crazy person who dressed my kid up. If we were leaving the house, she was in a cute outfit. Outfits, dresses, rompers... and topped it off with a bow and cute shoes.
Around the house, she wore lots of onesies+pants and sleepers, though.

I always put onesies under sleepers. I think both of mine mostly worse sleepers until about 3 months for DS and 2ish months for DD (I couldn't wait to put her in dresses).

She was a fall baby and wore footed sleepers until she was close to 6 months old. And then all summer, I had her in rompers. It was just so much easier.

She wears leggings and a cute top everyday. Or just a cure outfit. But mostly leggings. She rarely, rarely wears sleepers. Even while sleeping. I just like her wearing cute clothes. And leggings are super comfortable so I don't feel bad.

Sleepers. i personally don't see the point of putting him in anything else. We did the same thing with my DD. Go for it if you enjoy it though

I dress my LO in outfits. Sleepers are for sleeping. I love love clothes though!!!

I liked to dress my babies in cute but comfortable outfits from an early age. Sleepers are just for nighttime at our house.

Mostly sleepers bc.he looks and feels so sweet and snuggly. In them, plus you only have a short while in life where you can look so cute in pjs. I like putting.babies in outfits when.they are 6 plus months.when.they are filled out a little more and look cuter.in them!

Never a sleeper in public, as it just didn't feel right to me. But I did have a spring baby, so it was easier to put her in dresses.

@BandDmommy: I agree that this is a big part of it for me, too. I wanted my LO to understand from an early age that sleepers are associated with bedtime, whereas clothing is for the daytime.

Regular clothes. LO 2 wore a lot of rompers and dresses in the summer!

From birth I pretty much have dressed her in onesies. When she was very little, like the first month, she wore onesies and always had a blanket wrapped around her. Now at 3.5 months she almost always wears onesies with pants during the day and a footed sleeper at night. I keep it pretty simple.

Pretty much sleepers 24/7 lol i mean he's comfortable in it, it's easy for me (and for grandma who takes care of him now) and they are super cute! HATE socks.

My LO slept all the time and I just liked to keep things super easy so I liked to have my LO in cotton sleepers during the day for a long time (like until 6 months)...and she slept all the time so I liked to keep her comfortable during the day.. For bedtime I put her in sleep gowns for easy MOTN diaper changes or fleece sleepers. So I definitely had daytime sleepers and bedtime sleepers. I like how cute infants are dressed up but I hardly ever dressed her up as a baby

@blackbird: yeaaaah, the little ones for one a long sleeved onesie today. At bedtime, we'll put her in sleeper and a sleepsack bc she likes to be snuggly.
We go for easy and comfort over here!

DD is in sleepers too. Right now it's too much work to pull onesies over her head! Christmas day will be the first time she is in a onesie + pants since that's her Christmas outfit!
I have TON of onesies for 3mo and on though, so eventually we'll have to start wearing some, but I really do love those sleepers esp ones that zip up!

Aww! I must have missed the birth announcement! @Meridian: Congrats friend! At that age almost always footed sleepers. Or 3-pcc Carter's sets with the onesie underneath. In the beginning, MIL even insisted we layer the onesies UNDER the sleepers. And Chicago is waaay colder than here. You can always do that if you need layers.
