Particularly non food items....
LO1 ate a fly once and I was only able to fish out a wing. LO2 ate part of a ladybug yesterday but I was able to get most of it out of her mouth, I'm pretty sure she was munching on it for a few minutes though. So nasty.

She ate an ant once before I could get it out.
I have managed to stop her from eating: sand, cat litter (little piece on the floor), vomit (her own), dirt/mud/leaves/grass. I cringe to think about what she might eat at daycare.

Toilet paper she fished out of her sister's potty. I immediately switched LO1 to using a potty seat on the big toilet, but LO2 still hovers and waits near the bathroom door - I have to be quick to be sure the toilet and door both get closed.

When I first switched to cloth diapers I caught DD attempting to try her homemade chocolate and gagging. (It was poop)
I caught DS eating the dust around my vacuum filter. That was pretty gross!

Week old salami that she hid in her play kitchen.

Bath water that had been peed in, and a woodchip from the playground. Gag!

This all makes me feel a little better about LO chewing on our dogs toys and our shoes. (Yes I am sure he is a boy and not a dog, though there is a striking resemblance in behavior sometimes)

Not my own but my friend's LO found a cigarette butt on the ground and started chewing on it. Yuck.
