This came in a "veggie soup" pack from the grocery. So I'm assuming it's some kind of veggie but I have no idea what it is or how to cook it. Anyone know?!?!

I second @mrsbubbletea: - we call them pear squash but it's just another name for chayote. You peel & remove seeds, then you can eat raw/in a salad or cube them and cook like you would any other squash!
