I'm technically unemployed right now but when I have a FT job they will be in daycare full time. It's more than mortgage, yeah but still a lot less than what I earn. But two in daycare is our max. If we have a third one will have to be in kinder first!

I have twins who are in daycare. Needless to say, the first year of daycare was really expensive. what we paid monthly for daycare was more than our mortgage and car payment put together. It was rough, but we got through it. Each year it gets a little easier as the cost goes down.

It's gonna be pricey! Double our mortgage. But it's temporary. Once E is close to 3, a center is $135 a week, so we'll do that. So I'm looking at it like one very tight year....

We have both in a center for now. Our older will hopefully start at a pre-K program in the fall. It's not a $ saver though. So we have essentially double expenses (larger than our mortgage as well) until our younger is 21 months and our older would start public Kinder.

Nanny. Hell of a lot cheaper than two in daycare!

Daycare full time. If we ever had a third, is just have to quit my job.

DD is in preschool and it costs 2k per month. To put the twins in daycare will cost 5k per month so 7k per month Childcare?????? Our cheapest option would be to get a nanny for all 3 which will be 4k per month but I don't feel able to take a 3 year old out of preschool. No idea what we are gonna do.

My mom watches our son while we work (I only work four days). When #2 is here my son will go to preschool for two half days a week and my mom will watch the baby once I'm back from maternity leave after 4-5 months. We might send my son to school for a third day then.

I only have one, but when I have a #2, #1 will have to go to daycare and my mom will help watch #2 and then when #1 can go to school #1 then can go to daycare. I def can't afford 2 in daycare at the same time!

@BandDmommy: there is is a 10 percent discount. The actual cost per child for infant is 2600 so with 10 percent discount it will be 2340 per child so still just shy of 5k for the twins. I have no idea what I'm going to do. I'm hoping they take pity on me and offer a deeper discount, but this being NYC I am not holding my breath.

I am still pregnant with LO #2, but they will both go to daycare. It will be way more than our mortgage for 2 in daycare, and we will have a tight couple of years until #1 goes to kindergarten.
