LO is only in daycare part-time, and I balance writing my dissertation with teaching and a couple small admin positions (conference organizing mostly). And it's paid

I voted "on vacation until..." I just graduated nursing school (!!!!), and had a job interview Monday that would have me start in February, contingent on passing my boards in January! It's not really a vacation lol, I'll still have to be studying for the nclex.

Like you I was SAH when I had DD1 and thought I would be home with DD2 and then contemplating my next move but life isn't always so nicely laid out. Now we're trying for baby #3 and so the timeline for figuring out what's next is pushed out farther

Yes, I am an attorney (would rather not go back to law if possible!) and since we were having such a hard time conceiving #2 (over 2 years), I had made up my mind that I would go back to work and and was content with my one. But right when I accepted it all, I got pregnant and now I'm about 12 weeks along. I honestly have no idea what to do. It seems futile to look for a job when I'm gonna be out on leave again in 6 months (and honestly, Idk if I'll wanna go back to work after having #2, at least for the first six months - year). Ahh. Decisions, decisions. And no clue what to do -.-
