$150-$200 for groceries, we end up spending another $100 on top of that eating out (usually every Saturday afternoon and night, and then throughout the week DH works a lot of nights on the road so he ends up grabbing stuff). For the grocery store, I don't get so specific as to split the receipt up into food and non-food stuff that we get at the store, so I just lump it all in there when tracking expenses. We need to get better once LO is here.
ETA I really do not understand how people are getting under $100 for food/week. It's so frustrating! And we meal plan AND use coupons.

We don't keep to a strict food budget, but we usually spend around $125/week. I've been really good the past month or so about only going to the store once a week instead of multiple little trips which has REALLY helped. Ideally I'd keep it at $75-$100, but I food is where I think it's okay to splurge and id rather go for quality.

About $150-200/week on groceries - this includes our local supermarket, Costco, and Target. My in-laws live with us, so we have additional mouths to feed in addition to our little family of 3. I've really limited my meat purchases though - we rarely buy red meat anymore and I always buy chicken and fish in bulk at Costco. I try to buy organic veggies, milk, and eggs though - quality is still very important to me!
Then we spend an additional $100/week for eating out. We sometimes buy lunch when we're at work, and this also includes things like coffee, happy hour, etc.
These are two areas we've been really working on in our budget, so hopefully we can bring these numbers down! Not an easy feat considering how important food and spending time with friends (which always includes eating) is to us!

Does ordering like 30 dollars worth of Chinese takeout once a week count as food budget?
haaaaaa! Our schedules are really crazy and upredictable at the moment, so meal planning has gone out the window. Id say we are at anywhere from 50-100 a week these days.

probably about $150 per week, but that includes eating out which we do a bit too much. but we both suck at cooking, and it's just the two of us.. so sometimes going out for a quick bite seems much easier!

Anywhere from 100-200 every two weeks. I try to keep eating out/ordering in to about 50$ a week, but that doesn't always happen. And I'm not even counting my 2 to 4 iced coffees a day because that amount is just depressing.

Ahhhh! DH just said we're at like $500/week eating out and WITH groceries. Is food just hella expensive where we live? We can never go out to dinne without spending at lease $50!
This is a problem

We average around $150 a week for groceries. We were spending around $200 each week until recently. The cost of living here is brutal when it comes to grocery shopping. We only go out to eat once or twice a month. I'd say our budget for that is around $50-75.

It's just DH and I but I cook elaborate meals most nights. Our grocery bill for the week is normally between $120-$200, which includes most dinners and week day lunches. We go out to lunch every Friday and eat out on Saturdays for every meal that we're hungry for. We probably spend somewhere around $250-$300 p/week in food when it's all said and done. We could save a considerable amount of money if I'd coupon shop and bargain hunt but I don't have time for that.
