We hang out with friends once a week and we always drink red wine. Once it's a little bit warmer, I can't wait to make some sangria! Beer and a sauvignon blanc will be nice in the summer too.
What beverages do you serve when you have guests?

Depends on who it is, I try to serve whatever my guests like. We always have water/coke/hot tea/coffee/hot chocolate on hand. Usually root beer too (we buy a good brewed kind that our friends like). And then alcohol depends on the guest. Some of them are beer drinkers, some are wine. I don't think any of my friends like red so I usually save that for when my parents are in town and serve whites to my friends who like wine.

We always have sweet and unsweet tea, water and beer. Wine is also common, though. I make sangria a lot when it's hot out, too!

We always have water, milk, tea, and coffee. If DH's family is in town we have more tea and lemonade. If my family is in town we have pop.

At the moment, we only tend to have people over during the day - nine week old baby! We have coffee, tea (regular and herbal), hot chocolate and water. If we're a bit better prepared, we'll also have juice and soda but we don't always have these on hand. If it was more of a late afternoon/evening then we'd offer wine and beer.

Wine for the gals, beer or scotch for the boys. Oh and water. We rarely have soda in the house.

Depends who's coming. I usually try to get whatever I know people like. We pretty much only drink water in our house, so offering any kind of beverage requires a special purchase anyway.

Wine, beer, water, coffee, tea. We're pretty basic, but we also rarely have guests.

Wine (red/white), beer, water, juices. If its someone that I know that likes soda I'll have some on hand. If its a fancy things we'll usually also have cocktails.

We don't have people over very often and only have water, milk, tea, and coffee available. Sometimes DH will have a case of Mexican coke readily available for guests. It's a special treat for us.

Whatever they bring!! We have a bring-a-bottle culture here in the UK - you don't go to a party empty handed! We will always get beer and white wine in, too, and have the usual tea/coffee/lemonade options available.
