DH just got a leather case for his phone. I ordered a casemate plastic case. Wondering if Otterbox would be better? I hate the bulk, but the protection would be nice with a rambunctious toddler around our house!

Otterbox
I have seen so many broken screens I wasn't going to risk it.
Its been dropped, stepped on, thrown, etc and its in perfect condition!

After R dropped (well one time she kicked it out of my pocket, that was my fault) and I had to spend $$ to replace the screen, I caved and got an Otterbox. I started a thread and someone mentioned how they have a slim model now. So I got one of these. love it!

DH and I have otterboxs and we love them. They got dropped thrown and generally mishandled and still look great. We used to have defenders but stepped down to commuters for less bulk and they still work great. My MIL has a life proof and it's even less bulky but idk that I'd trust it.
ETA: I've never had the water issue mentioned below unless I spill something on it or something.

I like that it's clear so you can see my gold phone

I hated my otterbox. It always allowed moisture to get under the case for some reason. For example, if I would bring my phone into the steamy bathroom while taking a relaxing bubble bath, it would always end up wet under the case and I'd have to dismantle it, dry the phone, and put it back on again. Now I have a Lifeproof, and I absolutely love it. It's so much more sleek and streamlined, not bulky at all, and I've never had any water issues.

@Smurfette: I will be getting a 5 next year and I saw those but noticed it doesn't come with a screen protector - did you order one or leave as is? Is it still protected against falls (meaning it wont break) w/o it?

@Mamaof2: I didn't get one. I had one before and hated it. Not as clear of a picture. I have dropped it a couple times and knock on wood, no cracks. Granted it wasn't on the driveway or tile like when it did crack.

i have this one from spigen. i didn't realize there wasn't a screen protector included, so i ordered a tempered glass one, but it hasn't arrived yet. i do like the card slot as a kickstand, that's come in handy a few times. had an otterbox on my old phone, but it was too bulky for my, so i took it off.... and broke my screen

Cheapo clear one from i-blast on on Amazon. I just got a 6 and I want the gold to show through.
On my last phone i had a casetagram and I think society 6 has some beautiful ones.

I have the Galaxy Note 3 and there is a special "case" made just for it. It's actually just a cover for the screen (making it like a little black book). I rarely drop my phone and when I have it's been just fine.

I have a Speck's case. It's done it's job so far. I keep my phone in my back pocket all the time so an Otterbox would be too bulky for me. Fortunately, DS prefers the hubby's phone (Samsung S5) over mine.

I've had no issues with my Speck CandyShell. It isn't bulky but it has protected my phone from its numerous drops, bumps and hostile takeovers by toddlers.

I've had a casecrown I got from ebay that had served me well. Right now I actually just use one I got from Target dollar spot (well, it was $5) since my contract will be over soon. I never liked otterbox since it just seems so bulky. I drop my phone A LOT and it has survived for almost 2 years!

Another Speck user and I love it! I've dropped my phone several times and never broke anything. It's slim, has rubbery grippy sides (you can get it without too) and comes in nice colors.

I have something similar to @lawbee11:. I chose it for the same reasons.

A Lifeproof one, because it was the only one I could find that protects from liquid damage.

Otterbox. I'm as bad as my toddler is with my phone. My gray outer case is going, but I bought a similar one, so I'll change that out soon.

I have a Spigen Slim Armor S and I love it. It is really streamlined but had great reviews for protection (and I've had zero issues with it). I also have a screen protector over the screen itself.

Silicone cheapie from amazon works great for me! My phone has dropped plenty of times with no issues yet

For my iPhone I have a soft plastic iLuv case. No case for my Galaxy.

@mrsjyw: I was eyeing the same case you got. I love the gold glitter! I used to have an Otterbox for my 5s and I loved it, but figured it would be too bulky for the iPhone 6. Right now, I'm currently using a clear case until I can find something else I like better.

I had a Sonix case with a Rifle Paper Co. design that I really loved. DH replaced it for me with an Otterbox when the time came, and I was pleasantly surprised by how little bulk the Commuter line has.

i have a lifeproof case for my 4s and should be getting the 6 today! but haven't bought a case because i think i'm gonna get another lifeproof and they haven't released them yet for the 6.

I have an Otterbox ever since I broke my screen and needed a whole new phone. It's bulky but I've gotten used to it!

I HAD a Spigen Tough Armor but it fell out of my coat pocket and onto tile floor and the screen stopped responding. (On the 3rd day I had my phone!)
Now I have the new slimmer Otterbox Symmetry series - much less bulky than the "old" Otterbox. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HYSFW7M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Loved my Rifle Paper Company Sonix case, and I'm waiting for them to come out with the iPhone 6 cases. It's a surprisingly sturdy case that survived so many falls. Currently using Spigen and not loving it.
