Most of our schools do sub sandwich fundraisers. $4.50 for a pretzel sandwich, and $5 for a 12". My coworkers always bring the order forms into work and get tons of orders!

Our school does Yankee Candle, a raffle and two bake sales. I think the bake sales might also sell flowers/poinsettias but I'm not sure yet. I've never heard of a a sandwich fundraiser!

Our daycare does a penny drive and an art auction/dinner (it's a nonprofit daycare).

They have a food booth at local fairs/events.

The only thing our daycare/preschool does is a book fair.

Our school just did a heroes fundraiser as part of remember 9/11. Students were supposed to simply raise funds and then get a chance to wear a super hero costume. Two charities benefited- one for first responders and Vets; the other was educational focused.

My DD's school just kicked off a fundraiser. Frozen cookies, food items, holiday gift wrap, kitchen items, the works. My DS's school does an annual candle fundraiser. I personally hate the candles so we just donate $$ in lieu of participating.

Ours does a book fair and pies around Thanksgiving.

Book fair, fun run, and ice pop sales afterschool. Parents readily donate. ETA our big one is a Family Fair which is like a kids carnival withiut the rides. The teachers run it and parents volunteer. Kids play.

Public schools - no fundraising - they just ask you to donate btwn $35-50 per family
