During the ceremony, I wore a single-layer veil. For photos and during the reception, I wore a birdcage veil.

I had a ballet-length veil (ended at mid-calf). I thought I'd want a super-long veil but ended up loving the shorter one!

I had a cathedral length veil that flew off as I was walking down the aisle because it was too windy! I also wore a flower that I'd made.

I wore a beautiful, intricate hairpiece (you can see in the picture) and tucked a cathedral veil into it for the ceremony. Just the hairpiece for the reception.

Tiara (really more of a jeweled headband) and drop veil for the ceremony. I can't even count the number of girls who had borrowed my tiara! It's small and flexible so my girlfriends have used it as a headband, pinned in back.. So many different ways.

I had several. We had a hindu ceremony and reception (a very, very traditional one) and then an american ceremony and reception the next night.
For the Hindu ceremony, I had a crazy flower hair thing, fake hair braid, AND gold veil (both of which are the traditional bridal thing for my husband's culture--I was mildly horrified with the hair and veil but went along with it to make his family happy) for the first saree. Then I was required to change my saree halfway through the ceremony and had to change the flowers in the hair and take off the veil as well.
For the American ceremony, I had a double layer veil that was longer than my train, with a shorter layer to go over my face. I had a reception dress, so at that point I just put a flower in my hair. I only have bad cell phone pics on this computer, but it gives you an idea

@Mrs.Panda: LOVE this!
I had a single layer veil with a floral hairpiece. I wore them pretty much all night because my veil accidently got ripped out when hugging people afterwards so my hair was ruined. So I wore it well into the reception!
