Usually tylenol during the day, but advil when going to bed at night if I know she's in pain.

We'll do both Children's Advil and Children's Tylenol. Lately, it's been quite often. He's had a raging ear infection that has lasted through 2 sets of antibiotics. We're on our 3rd set now. Very much hoping this clears him up. Oh, and he's also getting his canines right now too with one about to pop through. C'mon tooth!!

@matador84: Yup...that's right! The Infant Tylenol or Infant Advil is more concentrated, so you need less of it to get the same effect!

Motrin or Advil for teething pains. Tylenol if she has a fever.

same as @smurfette: !
and during the day we generally default to tylenol, works faster. use ibuprofen at night because it lasts longer.

@2PeasinaPod: Oh no! We're heading back to the doctor this afternoon for (potential) second round of antibiotics. Hope your LO improves soon!

@tinyperson: Thanks! I hope yours does too! I always feel terrible for them when they have ear infections. Poor kids!

@2PeasinaPod: apparently LO's ear infection is cleared up; she must have picked up another virus this week.

Advil for teething and ear ache pain. Tylenol for fever. And always Advil at night, since it lasts longer.

Both Tylenol and Advil. Advil definitely lasts a lot longer, so we use that one at night before bed if needed, but we alternate both of them during the day when the teething or fevers are bad. Right now J has 5 teeth coming in, so the teething pain has been brutal. The Tylenol I gave him today hardly helped and took over an hour to work.
