At 1 year PP i STILL cannot use the same hairspray or perfume that I used in the first tri with LO. The scent just triggers my gag reflex!

Bacon, in both scent and taste, for at least a year after I had him. And I still can only tolerate it sometimes.

Anything with cocoa butter (the lotion I used in the first tri) and the stretch mark oil I used in the first tri. And cloves. I made pickles that take three days - where my house smelled like cloves for three day and I..just..cant.

@lovehoneybee: bless your heart! Bacon!?
Pregnancy ruined all scents for me, I got supersonic hearing and smelling powers and still do 10months pp. I smell every.thing. Not a pleasnt trait! Main thing would be Alfredo..probably because I lived off of it and am so sick of the smell now
On the other hand LO made me love the smell of our floor cleaner because while I was getting ready to come home from the hospital my mom came over and cleaned my house for us and brought some cleaner for the hardwood floors and now whenever I smell it I instantly think of coming home with a newborn.

BBQ sauce and fresh ground coffee. Good thing I don't much care for coffee! BBQ sauce is still hit or miss and I'm 9 mos pp!

My husband. And snails. Omg snails are the worst. I can smell a snail from a mile away.

I can't handle the smell or taste of Tamari almonds. And the Body Shop satsuma scent is probably #1 on my most-hated list.

@MrsTiz: So sad, right??? It was actually the first sign (to Dave) that I was pregnant...he was frying bacon and the smell made me throw up! I used to LOVE bacon!

Subway is the biggest one - I can't walk near a Subway shop without gagging. And banana smoothies - morning sickness ruined that for me.

This "cider lane" candle from Bath & Body Works D: Just thinking about it still turns my stomach 14 months pp!

Almost all of my favorite perfumes, especially anything sweet. I literally have only been able to wear two specific perfumes for my entire pregnancy and other peoples fragrances still make me want to barf at 29 weeks.

Peanut butter from D.
I used cabbage leaves after S and it smelled bad so now dh and I can't eat it. We used to love cabbage.

I'm 11 months post partum and I still sometimes get grossed out by the smell of eggs! When I was pregnant, I couldn't stand it.
During my first trimester, my husband read that you can make scrambled eggs in the microwave. He tried it and claimed it made pretty decent scrambled eggs, but it made our entire house smell like eggs. It was horrific. I swore I could smell it days later. That was the beginning of my long egg aversion!

@My Only Sunshine: someone just made eggs in my office and i am in the throes of first trimester nausea and i am disgusted. on the verge of throwing up in my garbage can. ugh.

@loki: Oh man, I feel for you!! Just reading about that made me feel a little queasy. Work kitchens are a pregnant lady's worst nightmare.

It took a long time for me to be able to cook chicken. I still hate half of my perfumes and only use one on rare special occasion. Anything overly strong, makes my mouth water!

Truffle or truffle oil. Major barf. If someone we're with (or at a nearby table) orders anything with it, I cannot eat ANYTHING. So grossed out by it.

Hmm. I'm nearing the end of 2nd trimester and so far I'm okay! I still hate the things I hate and didn't add anything new on the list!

Red meat. I couldn't look at raw red meat without wanting to hurl. I spent most of my first trimester eating chicken nuggets until I could stomach cooking meat again.

I lost my taste for beer and salmon. I'm four years out and the aversion is still just as strong as when I was pregnant!
