Just curious.... I'm almost out of my daytime moisturizer with SPF and am wondering if there are better products out there...

La roche posay has been my go to as of late. They also make a tinted version.

This has been my go-to for a while. I also love Paula's Choice in general because you can get samples of almost all her products to try before you buy.

I have been using Algenist Anti-Aging Moisturizer with SPF for about 5 years and it's amazing. Pricey but so worth it.

Ive been using Olay but I’m starting to really get some wrinkles and less than fine lines, so I think it’s time to step it up!
Of these suggestions- do they feel like a regular lotion or do they feel sunscreen-y? I like skinceuticals over the summer when I’m really in the sun but it feels a little heavy for like, walking through parking lots and such in the winter.

@Foodnerd81: I really love the Missha one because it's neither lotion nor sunscreen. It goes on super light and leaves no cast.

I've recently started using Dermalogica (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JORKTCE/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) on my face. I orginally bought it with the intention of always wearing sunscreen (ahem, can't say I've kept it up) b/c it feels like regular lotion and doesn't leave a white cast. I started using it on my face after I ran out of my regular moisturizer, and I can't feel a difference.

@periwinklebee: Ive been using Devita sunscreen mixed into my mositurizer for years now. It’s a really nice mineral sunscreen that actually blends and rubs in decently well. They sell the line at Whole Foods. http://devitaskincare.com/store/solar-protective-moisturizer-spf-30-25-oz75ml-p-17534.html

@BadgerMom: @Mrs. High Heels: @lawbee11: Have any of you tried the 2017 formula or do you use the older version?

I’ve acrually heard amazing things about the Biore and La roche Posay ones mentioned in beauty blogs.
Maybe I’m bad but I just use my B.B. Cream as my sunscreen It has spf 30 but maybe it’s not sufficient? I use it Year round though and never got burnt.
I also got the Glossier sunscreen serum but never ended up using it! Now this makes me want to go try it. It’s supposed to be a very light serum/gel instead of a lotion. To be used with your normal moisturizer.

@Mrs. High Heels: Good to know!
@SweetiePie: I think dermatologists recommend an spf of at least 30, but above that it doesn't make a huge difference. I don't know exactly how the scale works, but I think it's logarithmic or something. 15 to 30 takes you from blocking 93 to 97% of UVB radiation but 50 doesn't give that much more and beyond that gains are even more limited...

@Pancakes: yes, it's the same thing just different/updated packaging. I haven't noticed any difference between the two! I've been getting the 2017 version.

@Pancakes: I've only used whatever version is in that link. I always just order from Amazon
@SweetiePie: @periwinklebee: I used to also just use a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen but my dermatologist told me it's really better to use a separate sunscreen. So I always put the Biore on first before anything else. I think it smells good, too.

@Mrs. High Heels: Good to know about the recent version, as I wasn't sure if the older one would be degraded (not sure of shelf life of sunscreen....)
@lawbee11: This makes a lot of sense, I have a tinted moisturizer with spf but spf isn't great...

@periwinklebee: Oh yes, I didn’t mean the spf 30 wasn’t sufficient. I meant that I was using it in B.B. Cream form vs a separate sunscreen.
I just saw what @lawbee: said so I’m going to start using that Glossier one I got over the summer!
