I've never been a baby person, so I knew that I would prefer when the kids got older. I did love the toddler stage because seeing them learn how to talk is so much fun! But now that my kids are older (3 and 5), this is the best stage of all.
What is your favorite stage? Most of my friends love the newborn stage!

I'm really loving every stage so far! I thought I loved when he was really little but he is 23 months and so much fun!! He communicates great and is tons of fun. I love being around him! I'm sort of sad to be starting the baby stage again soon haha (34 weeks pregnant).

I'm like you - I prefer the older ages - probably 3 and up.
My kids are 2 and 4, and I'm loving it! I, too, love it when I start seeing their personalities blossom more and more. I love being able to talk to them, ask them questions, and see what fun/sweet/silly answers they come up with. It is amazing seeing the world through their eyes.

My son is now 2.5. So far, my favorite stages have been 6-12 months (happy, interactive, pre-walking) and 18-24 months (language explosion, before my son's onset of roller coaster emotions).

So far our current stage, 6-8 months, is by far my favorite. He's not fully mobile yet so he's happy sitting by himself and playing and I can leave the room. And he's not super clingy yet but he is crawling into my lap and reacts so happily when he sees me. And he overall has just really mellowed out and quit spitting up rivers. So I feel like this so far is the sweet spot.
However, I have a 5 Year old nephew and the "older kid" stage is what I'm REALLY looking forward to!

I wish I could relive the newborn stage, but feel the same as I do now--i.e. not sleep deprived, hormonal, anxious, etc. This stage (2.5) is also really fun! I am looking forward to every stage until they get to the tween years...

I loved about 12-18m, and I love the toddler years in general. We're at 2.5 and I'm just trying to savor it before she becomes a real "kid" and not "toddler."

I'm loving 2.5 years old way more than any previous age/stage. He is super imaginative, independent and more snuggly and cuddly than he's ever been before! Plus, I feel way more like myself at this stage than I did when I had a newborn/infant.
I always thought I was a baby person but I've definitely learned that I'm not!

DD is 29 months and so much fun (minus the tantrums). I hear moms say they wish they coud freeze time because their babies growing so fast but not me, I look forward to the next stage because it keeps getting better and better!

Right now! 2.5 is so so much fun! I'll let you know how I feel about the nb stage again come July! Hopefully I'll soak it in more this time around!

@lamariniere: This is happening for me too. I always thought I would love the infant stage the most but everyday gets better and better! She does something new every day that wows me or cracks me up.

I didn't like the baby stage either. I started loving it at 1 and it's just gotten better.
