LO is 10 weeks old and has been using a halo swaddle sack since we got her home (moved her from newborn to small size though). She's always slept really well in it for night sleep, and I started using it for naps 2 weeks ago and it worked great. I swaddle her up and it's like an "off" switch and (as long as she was tired) she'd be out in 5 minutes flat.

But the last 4 nights she has been fighting it a LOT. Occasionally in the past I'd wake up and she'd have busted a hand out, but she never fought it enough that I woke up. But the last 4 nights she has, including last night where she was basically up from 2am-8am clearly exhausted but refusing to sleep either swaddled or swaddled with arms out. She's busted out every night too requiring me to reswaddle her 2-3 times through the night. What bugs me most is one time she curled her legs up (to give her room at the bottom of the sack) then got her arms out the bottom of the swaddle and pushed all the fabric up by her face-- not cool baby!

I'm considering swaddle weaning but she seems a little young for that and I've tried 2 naps today unswaddled and she keeps startling herself awake.

So now I"m wondering if she just needs a different swaddle? A miracle blanket? A woombie? Or maybe I should stick it out and swaddle wean and hope after a few days she gets used to her arms and goes back to her previously rock star sleeping ways? Or maybe I leave her in the halo sack and see if this is just a phase she'll get over?

What worked for you/what would you do if you were me?
