I hear that a lot of people wake up from labor or it starts early in the morning... so every morning that i wake up and there aren't any signs of labor I'm disappointed that it won't happen at all that day (I'm due tomorrow and getting antsy)

Mines kind of skewed because I had started an induction and it failed. I went home Friday morning around 8:00 and started contractions around 10am. They were pretty mild but timeable. At around 6 pm they became unbearable and I went back to the hospital and I was in labor and 5cm!

DS: midnight, water broke
DD: I realized I was in labor around 9pm, but was clearly in labor most of the afternoon, looking back now. -
I was induced so it's moot, but I read somewhere that most women's water breaks at 3am! Hope your girl comes soon!

Hmm, I don't really know how to vote for LO1. I woke up in the morning and had a small bloody show, which I'd read meant labour was imminent. Mild contractions, and I mean super mild, started around mid day, picked up a bit in the evening, and then tapered off when I went to bed. They started again for real in the middle of the night and continued on until I had my baby later that day. With DD2, my water broke with intense contractions immediately following at 2:30 a.m.

My water broke at 130am but contractions didn't start until 430am at the hospital.

I voted 12-6am although technically I had two contractions before midnight

I went into labor on the weekend both times. LO1 at 10 am and LO2 at 3 am.

@blackbird: Ditto! I was induced as well, but a lot of my friends started going into labor in the wee hours of the morning or early in the morning.

With LO1, I started feeling contractions around 7:30 a.m., but they didn't turn into anything serious until after noon. With LO2, I started feeling contractions around 6:00 p.m.

Started having contractions around 3 am. Woke up around 9 am to find my bloody show and mucus plug. She was born at 8 pm that night!

Contractions started about 5:30-6:00 and my water broke while I was pushing.

Water broke around 2:30am. She was born 1:20pm the next day! Painful contractions started around 6am.

I'm not 100% sure. My water broke in my sleep but I'm not sure when exactly beccause it was a slow leak. I woke up around 8am to use the bathroom and noticed that my pants were wet.

Around 6pm or after for me. I worked a full day, couldn't get comfortable, and then it got worse, was definitely labor. I got to the hospital at 4cm.

I lost my mucus plug and knew I was in labor based on regular contractions at about 2pm. The contractions got real at 10pm.

Contractions started early afternoon and were on/off until the following afternoon. My water broke right at 4pm and he was born shortly after 5pm. My midwife told me that active labor would probably start overnight but it's not always the case!

My water broke around 1:30am and painful contractions started shortly after. But looking back I was in the early stages of labor the day before. I thought I was having lots of braxton hicks because we were pretty busy that day and on the go for most of it. I was 37w5d.
