I personally wouldn't wear white lace to a wedding.

I like the ballet wrap style top with the tulle but I agree about the white lace at a wedding. I'd pair it with something darker with maybe an embellished neck line. I agree with @Glitter. I'd do a brighter color or a pattern on top. You could do a black/white pattern and a fun shoe or clutch for a pop of color.
