We want to get LO some new toys for when we go on her first flight in a few months. Of course she loves noisy toys and I know thsoe aren't ok to take on airplanes. What has worked for your LO in the past?

Our main toy is going to be the iPad. Other than that, I have sticker activity books, a Crayola Wonder Color book, story books, and snacks. I am hoping snacks will keep her occupied for a good amount of time!

When we took DD to the East Coast, I got her Matchbox cars, Weeble Wobbles, wind-up toys, small board books, a travel Magna Doodle, a snap bracelet, a sticker book, and some new crayons/coloring books. Then, I wrapped up each one individually. Every 15-30 minutes of the flight, she got to pick a new toy; unwrapping it and playing with it would keep her occupied for 15 minutes or so at a time.
Actually, her favorite toy on that trip was one we allowed her to pick out of the airport gift shop on the way home; she chose a plastic tube of little animal figurines and spent over an hour putting them in/taking them out of the tube.

I think noisy toys would be fine. Airplanes are so loud..!
We have a Baby Einstein tag a long tunes toy that LO loves.
I need to change the batteries tonight!

I agree that noisy toys are fine, no one can hear anything with the engine noise!
For our upcoming trip, 7 hour flight, we're bringing the Ipad, sticker books, some board books, crayons, snacks and a puzzle of some sort. I also plan to get a travel magna doodle.
