    My major was fashion design with a minor in communications. I design and make patterns for dance recital costumes.

    I was an Accounting and MIS major. I started in consulting for mainly SOX then moved to internal audit.

    @simplyfelicity: @mfa_lady: yup I have an MFA in Creative Writing and a BS in Public Relations and Journalism. I have been a publicist and grant writer and now I work as a writer for a city agency. I mainly write a monthly newspaper for all of our residents that has about the same circulation as the Boston Globe.

    BS in electrical engineering, MS in industrial engineering. I work in quality control. So kinda. There's no major for quality engineering so it isn't like I could've gone to school for that.

    I majored in psychology in undergrad; have a PhD in social psychology; and I'm a psychology researcher at a university. So yep, use it daily!

    I majored in Elementary Education and General Science and minored in mathematics. A few years ago, I got my TESL. I am a K-5 ESL teacher, so it's related!

    So completely opposite lol. I'm still not entirely sure how I managed that. I do love my job though.

    I majored in adolescent social studies education...and am now in corporate sales. I never would have believed it years ago, but I really love my job!

    Yes and no: For undergrad, I majored in math and spanish. I'm a math professor now, and the spanish has served me well on some vacations

    Astrophysics. I didn't finish. Which isn't even remotely shocking since honestly that's a bit over my head. I wound up a nanny and now SAHM. Kind of wish I had some sort of child development education, but it's fine.

    I majored in wildland recreation management. Before SAHM I was a recreation coordinator for a municipality (think Leslie Knope on parks and rec)

    I have a BS in business administration, with an emphasis in marketing. I used to teach ESL, so no. I'm currently back in school for an MSBA, so we'll see where this leads me in a few months.

    Yup. Undergrad was English composition with a Linguistics minor. I taught English for 5 years and slowly got my MLS in Library Science and then became a librarian, which I've been doing the past 8 years.

    Yes! Bachelors and Masters in Social Work and I am a licensed clinical social worker.

    Yes - I have a bachelor's in sociology and master's in social work, and was a child protection social worker for several years. I also have a master's in elementary education and taught middle school social sciences and English for a couple of years as well, so yes again!

    Currently a SAHM - no degree available for this career

    I have a degree in architecture and an MBA in real estate development.

    I use both all the time. I work (or did on an indefinite maternity leave) as an architect and consult on redevelopment projects for highest and best use.

    I'm getting a phd in the same humanities discipline that I majored in (and have gotten an ma and mphil in since starting my phd program), so yes!

    My first degree was in fine arts (minors in global studies, math, and architecture), my second was in civil engineering. I'm a civil engineer (transportation-related) now.

    Love how many engineers there are here - if I went back to school, I think it would be for an engineering-related discipline!

    As it is, I majored in anthropology and my career is in HR - not exactly the type of people studying that I intended, but it's definitely helpful!
