Do you remember?
This can be for an anovulatory cycle or an ovulatory cycle.
Mine was 5.3 last month (no clomid)
and 7.7 this month (50mg clomid)
Both anovulatory cycles (as assumed by my OB)

I just went and looked mine up. Prior to starting Clomid, my 7dpo results were around 7 and 8. The first month on Clomid (50 mg) was 56.32.
For what it's worth, sometimes Clomid messes with the timing of your ovulation, so it's important that your progesterone is tested 7dpo, not necessarily on CD21.
Edited to add: I don't think my results were typical. I'm a good responder to meds in general. I stayed on 50 mg and on my third cycle was monitored at the end by my RE (my OB had prescribed Clomid). I ended up ovulating 4 eggs on 50 mg of Clomid! I also responded very quickly to my IVF stims.

@littlek: Yeah, it turns out not ovulating was not my problem so I think the Clomid just turned my ovaries into little machines!

@twodoghouse: I said day21, but in my case, it was day 28 because I adjusted for 7DPO. And wow! Those numbers....

@littlek: Unfortunately, no. My RE is pretty sure I have endometriosis (no lap to confirm, but everything seems to point toward endo) so we moved straight from Clomid to IVF. The IVF worked!
@CupQuakeWalk: Oh good! I didn't want you to be getting lower numbers from testing on the wrong day. I'm sorry the 50 mg didn't do the trick though. Are you moving up to 100?

@twodoghouse: no I was as of yesterday, but because my 3s went from 5.3 to 7.7 on 50mg, she is leaving me at that another month. I have a consult with my RE for the first time in 10 days or so anyway, so I will ask him if my OB is making the right decisions.

@CupQuakeWalk: how's your LP? I got a result of 3.1 (unmedicated) at 7dpo once but then I got AF at 9 or 10 dpo so they missed my "peak". This is why you need ultrasound monitoring! Good luck with the RE

@CupQuakeWalk: Bummer that you're not getting bumped up to 100 mg. I'm glad you're going to see an RE! I hope he/she can get you going on the right path!

@Shutterbug: bingo. You're a winner. I have been begging for u/s monitoring for 6 months. I am so excited to see my RE!

Just looked mine up:
pre-Clomid = 5.5
50mg = 1.5
100mg = 9.5
My doctor at the time (ob/gyn) decided to leave me at 100mg for 3 more months, saying that 9.5 was close enough to the 10 she was looking for (although I read online that you should be looking for a 15 or higher on medicated cycles, so....)
With the 100mg dose I would finally get a temp shift on my chart, but I don't think I was ever ovulating strong enough on clomid, given that this current cycle with my RE I've been on a stupid amount of meds just to get mature follicles (gonal-f 225iu/day for 10 days). That's why I'm a big fan now of monitoring with u/s, because just the projesterone test isn't a full picture of if you're actually getting mature follicles.

@CupQuakeWalk: prior to taking clomid my levels were under 2. On 50mg they were at 2. On 100mg it was at 27 (my pregnancy with Chloe)

Oops, forgot to say.. 14.21 was on 50mg Clomid and the 15.something was on Femara.

Just wanted to update that my levels with 100mg Clomid this cycle were at 25 for CD21.
I am not even 100% cd21 was 7dpo, it may have been more like 5 or 6 DPO.

I'm not sure how Clomid affects progesterone levels (I assume it doesn't?) But I think at least your 7.7 cycle was ovulatory. The cycle I got pregnant (sticky pregnancy) I got a 6 on maybe 8dpo. The day before it was 10 though, so I think it really matters what the conditions are.

@Mrs.Someone: I'm not sure of the science behind it but it typically does. A level of 15 is generally required on a Clomid cycle, because Clomid manipulates the hormonal levels (which gets the O to happen) and so progesterone levels should be higher because of the effect of the Clomid, I guess. My RE said 7.7 for 50 mg of Clomid was not good.

@CupQuakeWalk: 25 is awesome! I hope that means 100 mg if Clomid is all you need and if you're not pregnant now you will be soon!! Fingers crossed for you !
