In our house, the favorite gifts were the giant doll house and the new princesses. Surprise favorite gift was the Octonauts play set from my mom. She loves her Kuasi(sp) and GupB.
What was your lo's favorite gift?

Legos for the oldest, hands down. The youngest has been doing a rotation between all the new things.

We got her the Little People school bus and she hasn't stopped playing with it since she opened it. It was the second thing she opened and she refused to open anything after, haha. Today was the first day she hasn't had a meltdown at every meal because I make her stop playing to eat. Annoying but also adorable.

I think it's the Doc McStuffins hospital cart. So far it gets played with every day.
She also likes the game 5 second rule where you try to name things before the timer runs out.

DD is 9 months. She received a Rudolf rattle and loves it! I didn't think it would hold her interest, but for some reason she's super into it.

A sheriff Callie dress up outfit for DD1. She won't take it off, and requests that she only be referred to as sheriff Callie.
Dd2 is only 8 months but got a vtech train ride on/walker thingy and loves it.

Playmobil zoo and extra animals has been the favorite of both kids. They will literally sit there for an hour moving the little animals around.

@T.H.O.U.: Alice got one of those real pet birds, too. She has been telling me forever that she wants a real pet bird to sit on her finger so I figured this is as close as we're getting to a pet bird. She really likes it, but also tells me that it's not actually real. 🙄

@mediagirl: I was just thinking this morning how the toys are getting better with age! Little infant toys are not very fun He likes this little keyboard thing he go that came with a book of songs to play (color coded). He won't be able to understand how to really use it for a couple years but he enjoys banging on the keys!

Ha! My 18 month old's favorite gift is also the Daniel Tiger electronic trolley and the set of DT figures! Her sister is intrigued by it too and wants to play with it. They've already fought over it
My 3 1/2 year old loves the Osmo creative set and her new Wellie Wisher.

Her favorites seem to be a play food set where you cut the food with a knife, and a bead/lacing set. Those both hold her attention for awhile and she keeps going back to them
