LO 1- Ellie and Charlie! DH was ok with Ellie but not Eleanor and Charlie reminded him of someone that he didn't like in junior high!!

Emily. I was totally convinced I was having a girl and knew I wanted that name immediately. And then we found out we were having a boy and it took us till 5 months to come up with a name!

When I was pregnant with our first and didn't know the sex, we considered Adrianna and Nathanial.

DH always had Kara during TTC or even before, so as soon as we had a BFP, we knew it'd be Kara if it's a girl and she is!

Everly & Nolan. Everly is still my number one, Nolan has been bumped from our top boy name for Kellen.

Girl -- the name we named her.
Boy -- Alex. I still love that name but know way too many friends who have named their sons Alex.

Son - the name we named him, we had a short list, but it was always the first name.
Daughter - Nothing! I could not even let myself think about names until my anatomy scan, which wasn't until 22 weeks!

@snowjewelz: Love that! Kara was our favorite name for a long time! In the end, we went a different direction for our DD.
Georgia for a girl, although I knew DH wouldn't go for it. It was my grandma's name, though. I was super hung up on August (Gus) for a boy at the time. Glad we didn't go that way now, as I think The Fault in our Stars might cause an Augustus name craze. Plus, DS is sooo not a Gus!

Clara!
My top two faves a few years back!

we had talked a lot of baby names pre-TTC... so we were pretty set on it being Clark if it was a boy. Girl names were tough but I think my first thought was Isla because it was my FAVOURITE name when i was in high school. If it's a girl, it won't be an Isla though... DH isn't into it. If it's a boy it'll still be a Clark probably!

@twodoghouse: Georgia and August (Gus) were mine too! We chose something completely different than Gus for DS, but I'm still holding on to Georgia for a future girl.

@mrsjyw: DH loved Ethan but a friend "claimed" it so we got over it!

Ava for a girl, but it became way too popular for us. Benjamin for a boy, which is still a contender for baby #2 if we have a boy whenever I am pregnant again.

Bristol and no-effing-clue
Bristol has been our long time girl name (which we can't use now because my coworker just had a baby girl and named her that!!)
We didn't come up with a boy name until we found out he was a boy!

Emelia if it was a girl but it was cut right away as DH hates it we luckily had a boy so it didn't matter.
