I am looking for some ideas for both of my LO's stockings. I want some things that are useful, but somewhat fun. I have bath bubbles so far. I would like to get the rest in the next week or so!

@mediagirl: How do you like those Toob animals? I just ordered the learning resources ones, I'm curious how they compare.
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
@Bao: @regberadaisy: Toob animals are great. They're much different from Learning Resources animals (we have sets of both) because LR animals are so much bigger. Toob animals are fun for bathtime, water play outside, playing with in play dough and general play. They're both great sets of animals. You can get Toob animals at Michaels with a 50% off coupon.

Toothbrush & toothpaste, puffs, and some bath toys. He will be 8 months at Christmas.
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
@regberadaisy: do you remember that animal matching game I posted a picture of on IG a long time ago? I used Toob animals for that.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@mediagirl: oh I ordered the smaller LR ones! The pack of 60. I think they are around 2 inches? Is that about the size of the Toob ones?
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
@Bao: yep, that sounds about right! ETA: what are you going to do with 5 of each animal? I'm curious, I'm probably not thinking outside of the box...

My 2.5 year old is getting socks, stickers, a few small books, hair pretties, and bath toys.
My 13 month old will be getting socks, board books, and some sort of ball because she loves balls! And maybe a hair pretty, too.

@mediagirl: I have no clue! LO has some cheap dollar store type animals that she loves to play with. She builds homes/barns for them with blocks, cooks them in her kitchen, puts them in her stroller for walks. She's just obsessed with the little things, so I thought I would get her a nice set. Plus she loses them all over the house, so maybe I'll tuck some away

@Rainbow Sprinkles: What bath toys are you getting? I feel like I'm always throwing bath toys out because they mold.
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
@Bao: lol now that's smart! M always asks for things and if we can't find them, epic meltdown. Having multiples is a good thing.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@mediagirl: oh and I got them for only $11.25 on Amazon today, so I figured for that price what's 50 too many

@Bao: So the girls LOVE to play with cups in the bath. Out of all the "real" bath toys we have, their favorites are the set of stacking cups we have (just plastic), and they all have different holes in the bottom so they can fill them up and water pours/drips out the bottom.

@Ra: Figurines, that's a good idea. What's up with kids and figurines...they love them!!!!!
hostess / cantaloupe / 6486 posts
