A spinoff of the other thread! Feel free to speculate below.
Best part for me is that most of my phone conversations are less than 30 seconds. Just kidding, I mostly text.

You have short hair! You don't need to shave! You can just get up & go!

Yeah, I'm going to have to go with ability to pee standing up.
Or maybe the short hair, since that's what I hate most about being a woman... haha

You can pee wherever you want (within reason).
You can have kids until you're ancient! (as long as you've got some Viagra!)

You don't have to feel as if your guard must be up when walking down empty/sketchy streets at night.

Getting paid more.
Having kids without being pregnant, giving birth, or breast feeding (and the concomitant career impacts)
Faster metabolism of alcohol.

I didn't realize that peeing standing up was so valued!
@Freckles: I still worry about walking down the street alone, although probably not enough as I got attacked on the street a decade ago!

Definitely being able to pee standing up. I have a recurring nightmare where I am in scary/nasty/filthy bathrooms and have to pee so bad.
Also, men generally get more attractive with age. Men are considered sexy if they are super smart, athletic, funny, successful...looks aren't everything. Women have more pressure to by physically attractive and having kids can totally age us...there is so much pressure to look younger as we get older

That men get better with age. Like wine.
Women are depreciating assets, and men... are not.
Women get more and more pressure to "keep up" as they get older.

@sandy: I wrote my answer before I saw yours. Jinx! Yes to all of your second paragraph!

@Mrs. High Heels: haha most men I know are depreciating!
But I take your point!! There are also the George Clooney type men out there...

@mrbee: Hahaha yes I know a few depreciated assets too, lol. George Clooney... *swoon*
Also, the women's pool of competition gets larger as more females come "of age" while men's pool of "selection" gets bigger! What's up with that. Blah.

Oh gosh, there's a long list.
No periods.
Less chance (still a chance, but much smaller) of being sexually assaulted.
Being able to have kids at almost any age.
Less pressure from society to look "put together" (meaning, a man can shave and put on a five year old suit and be taken seriously, but a woman has to do soo much more).
Being able to pee almost anywhere.
No (or few) worries about losing career trajectory just because you have a child.
Often getting paid more for the same job.
Little to no fear of sex becoming painful after having children.

The peeing thing doesn't bother me... But the fact that my husband can just get up and go annoys me like no other!

I'm surprised at all of the peeing while standing comments! NO WAY, y'all. The fact that a man never has to deal with the pain, emotional instability, discomfort, and utter hell of a monthly period makes their lives 1,000,000,000 times easier.

I think, in general, there are fewer expectations of men "having it all". I fully accept that this is a sweeping generalization, but that's my vote!
