I think for me it's just the lack of time to get everything I want to do done. The time spent caring, cleaning, cooking, and shopping for Charlie is definitely over 40 hours a week, so it's like having another full-time job.
It's worth it of course, but in an ideal world it would be great to have an extra 5 hours a day to get things done!
What's the hardest part of being a parent for you? Guilt? Money? Being tired? Your baby's sleeping/eating/fussy ways?

Sleep deprivation/not enough hours in the day. The two go hand in hand, I suppose. A bit of a catch-22, lol.

Not having complete control. I am a type-A personality with obsessive compulsive tendencies, so having an entirely separate PERSON who completely depends on you, but at the same time is so unpredictable and has a mind of her own, has been the most difficult.
Oh, and being an introvert. I am a 100% introvert who really needs her alone time to stay mentally stable and happy...and it's really difficult to accomplish this when you're a mother!

I think it's the routine. For example, having to give the LO a bath every single day for the next who knows how many years until she can do it herself. Just having all these things that you HAVE to do every single day....

what I find hard is that I need to go out once in a while to keep myself sane... but then when I'm away from my kids, all I do is worry and miss them....

Dealing with new challenges. I thought dealing with getting an infant to eat and sleep was the hardest thing ever. Now dealing with toddler tantrums is definitely 10x worse. I normally like a challenge, but it's such a different thing when it's your kid.

For me it's just the constant feeling of being 100% responsible for this other person, all the time, no matter what. It's obviously worth it, but not very relaxing.

@Grace Oh I agree with that so much... I used to say that the tasks themselves are not difficult at all, especially once you get used to breastfeeding. The most difficult thing was the PRESSURE of always being responsible for the baby. Even when Rob Sr. was around to help out, I never felt like I could really relax or take a break because I'd always be helping him and supervising.
