I had to look up what a pompadour was. I always just called it frat boy hair. I think she could have written a dissertation on her experience! Oh and her subsequent depression.

I cringe over statuses about poop.

People who post photos of their kid, naked, covered in shit, in a shit covered room. I do not need to see photos of your kid's diarrhea.

I had one fb friend who updated her status with how dilated and effaced she was after ever OB appt from 35 weeks on. I felt that was unnecessary.

Otherwise most of my fb friends are pretty tame (in a good way!).

a girl on my fbook took her daughter to the zoo the other day. then proceeded to post not one, not two but FIVE albums of the experience. FIVE. you could literally make an animated flip book of the entire day if you put all the photos together. it is absurd.

I have a friend that I had to hid from my news feed because every hour or so there was a new picture of her kids or a "funny" story with such bad spelling G & grammar you couldn't even follow the story. She also has posted a photo of her daughter in her first time out &one of her pooping on the potty which just blows my mind. I don't understand why she would do that. & it's annoying.

@Happygal: yes. Someone posted a picture today with the caption "he'll be potty trained in no time!"

Ugh.

I saw a girl in a local mom group talking about how glad she was that her preemie in the NICU wouldnt take a bottle because that meant they couldnt give him formula and how proud she was that he was only getting BM even though he was losing weight.

So... proud that your kid is starving?! Some people... Thats some seriously disordered thinking.

My FB has been pretty tame, but I have a friend that posts about every. single. thing. that is going on with her eight-week old. Yesterday it was about how she hoped he'd sleep through his sister's kindergarten assessment and he's been going 4-5 hours between feeds in the morning. I love her, but dang.

@Danizaur: I know, right? Hell, putting a clip in Cs hair to keep it out of her eyes is almost too much upkeep some days.

@Anagram: oh my word, I pert near spit out my coffee reading that review. I mean, "We are really heart broken, because we have a mad love affair with our son's pompadour."
Apparently she's obsessed, she prattles on and on about it...made my morning!

1. That review! I didn't think it was real at first.
2. Kids' salons are a thing? My kids will be lucky for a sharp pair of Fiskars.
3. One person on my FB posted a picture or her baby's poop on her arm after her son had a blowout at the grocery store.

I love how she asked for the same haircut and gave the stylist a picture of the kid wearing a hat, LOL.

Holy crap that's long-winded lol!

TL;DR version:

"First time she cut his hair we loved it, but we were really disappointed with the second cut she did as it was not what we wanted. Overall we are still very impressed by their level of service, but we may try a different stylist next time."

@Anagram: I've seen birth photos on FB that I thought looked nice and were still kind of classy looking - edited and cropped appropriately and what not. But I will draw the line at seeing blood on mom's upper inner thighs every time, lol!

I may be the only one, but I cringe at the baby's first solid food photos. I do not need to look at a baby smeared head to toe in mushed-up goop, thanks. Yes I understand this is a thrilling day for you. It's still gross. Eugghh.
