I had a lady who was serving our food tap on my belly and tell me I was having a girl. She "knew" because she could tell by how my belly felt. ....by tapping it?

@mediagirl: ha ha!! That's so strange !
My MIL went with me to my sister's baby shower (sis and I were pregnant at same time ). She out of the blue decided to start policing what I ate!!! I went to get more bread (the only thing i could really eat cause i was so queasy), and from across the room she wagged her finger and said "no no no!" What the heck! Lol

When we went to visit my in-laws while I was pregnant, my MIL asked me if I had to go to the bathroom every time we were leaving the house. I am a grown woman! If I have to go to the bathroom I will do it! It annoyed me so much I started saying no even if I did have to pee just out of spite.

Lol!!!
When I was going to the RR at work, the cleaning lady was in there at the same time. After having small talk, I mentioned I was having twins - she immediately RIPPED off her cleaning gloves, touched my belly, and began a VERY long, loud prayer.... coworkers walked in and were like wth is going on in here?!?!

@MrsLilybugg: In laws!!! My FIL accused me of being anorexic (I was a very late shower) THEN spent the entirety of Thanksgiving policing my food and saying I should use less butter!

I was surprised how many people started asking me how dilated I was starting around 36 weeks. It's not something I ever thought to ask someone and I was weirded out by how many people were asking the status of my cervix! I never had a check done 'til I was in active labor so I never knew. People seemed to equate some type of dilation with going into labor soon even though it doesn't mean anything!

My BIL's grandma chastised me for crossing my legs. She was convinced that it was bad for the baby.

@mediagirl: I have a similar story! When I was pregnant with Ev we stopped for lunch at a BBQ place. We had gotten our food to go because it was so packed...it was an order at the counter and someone would bring it to your table kind of place, and the line at the counter was at least 10 people deep. So we were walking past the counter to the door and the cashier runs out from behind the counter, slaps her hand on my belly and informs me I was having a girl! I was so surprised that I was a bit frozen, but D for mad, snapped "get your hands off my wife!" and pulled me away. So weird and random!

Went into crazy detail about having sex during the last month to get my body ready for labor. It was a total stranger who decided to grab my belly and proceed to follow me around the grocery store for 10 ish minutes talking about the most inappropriate things. It was crazy.

We were standing in Sam's Club when a random lady came right up to me and gave me a hug and started telling me that she sympathized with being pregnant during the hot summer. It was weird but DH got upset because he was feeling very protective.
